CHAPTER ELEVEN

Fighting with some bully, big boy or anything was never part of my plan. I had no intention of learning combat and even if I wanted to learn; I did not intend to learn this way.

My body still ached reminding me of the brutal punch Collin gave me but at least, I'm recovering fast and now better. Thanks to Mira who tended to my wounds.

Mira was already sleeping and I had no idea where Lizzy was; not like I care anyway. I don't feel like sleeping and I don't feel like just sitting on my bed, doing nothing. I glanced at the clock; time was already 11:20. I just sighed then stood up gently. I walked sluggishly to the door then opened it gently and walked outside, closing the door behind me. I stood at the front of my dorm door as the wind softly hit my skin. After a few minutes of staring at the sky, I decided to start walking to a direction I was unsure of; at this particular time, I cared less if I was going to get lost again. My body is still suffering from pain but I felt like walking. So I continued, ignoring the pain.

The day is dark,

The sky is gloomy,

The full moon is out,

The stairs are watching,

The air is cool and calm,

My blood is rushing,

It's a tragedy, also a mystery,

Though heart needs you,

Yet I can't call for you.

I used my cold hands to clean the tears that fell freely from my eyes. I released a long breath again as I kept walking, looking at the sky. I don't think I will ever be able to forget my mother. The breath inside my breath, my only home and the only person who kept me going.

If I could call out to the heavens, speak and plead to the heavens. Then I will ask for my mother or they at least, should let me join her.

My mind Immediately went blank when I caught the sight in front of me.

Who the hell are this people? What are they doing here by this time? I asked my self.

A boy with dark brown hair and a girl with long blonde hair were busy doing crap. When I mean crap; they were kissing at this time of the night. Not just kissing; the guy was also busy grabbing the girl's ass and squeezing it. I'm not going to stand here and watch this two weird people making out.

I didn't even move up to four steps when I saw a hoodied man or boy walking towards my direction. I allowed my instinct to take over as I quickly hid behind a curved building which will prevent him from seeing me.

It wasn't even the man wearing hoodie that made me to hide, it was the knife he held; a knife that was dripping blood. My heart kept beating fast and hard against my ribcage. Why was he holding a knife with blood on it? I peeped through the walls that protected me then I saw the man's figure walking far away. I released a prolonged breath even though I wasn't still settled. After I was sure he's figure had faded away, I moved out of my hiding place then I remembered the couple that were making out. I looked around and also saw that they both hid from the hoodied man.

I couldn't really see their face but I was sure the girl was terrified. No doubt, really scared; you could even hear her breathing. My leg suddenly twinged and I felt a sharp pain in my leg.

"Ouch!" I whispered yelled, I wasn't able to keep it muffled because it came too sudden. I glanced up as my eyes locked with the boy's eyes then then the girl. We looked at ourselves for so long until I averted my gaze away. I could still see the fear in the girl eyes no matter how she tried to mask it.

I looked down at my leg and felt another spasmodic pain. Collin really did a good job and he was going to pay for it, that big, egoistic jerk. I fell to the floor quickly without warning as the pain in my leg kept increasing. I noticed that where I fell suddenly become darker as I felt a shadow or shadows surround me. I looked up and saw the couple looking down at me, presumably they might have noticed my condition. They both had blue eyes but different hair colours.

"You are the same girl Collin almost murdered." The girl muttered over exaggerating it.

Yeah right, what a bad reputation.

"I can help." The guy said, offering his hands. I gladly took it without hesitation.

I'm pretty sure this girl would have been looking at me skeptically if she didn't see Collin beat me.

"I'm Jack." He said as he helped me walk.

"I'm Isabella." The girl spoke up.

"Aurora." I replied briefly.

As I walked all I could wonder or ponder was about the hoodied man.

Just three questions

Is that a human blood?

If it is, whose blood is that?

Who is he?
