I stare at Baruch as he sleeps in the early hours of the morning and Amadeus giggles.
“What are you laughing at Amadeus?” I ask him and he points at Baruch as his three-month-old self sits upright on the bed, “Baruch, wake up, your brother is laughing at you.” “Mama why?” Baruch asks with a frown as I kiss his little nose. “I have to go my sweet boy so you need to get up, get dressed, eat and spend the day with Mother Eden,” I say kindly. “Why can’t we come with Mama?” Baruch asks sweetly, “Please.” I sigh, “I won’t be long and we can play when I come back. Just remember to stay away from eating things, taking anything from others and especially stay away from Mother Calliope.” Baruch nods and rubs his eyes sleepily, then gets up to get dressed so we can head downstairs for breakfast.
