Agent’s Investigation Begins - Iris

The family is waiting patiently, trying to justify the unjustifiable. They couldn't fathom that their Iris went to heaven, that he probably took someone else's place. They are waiting patiently for this posh man in a suit and tie with shiny shoes, having all the money in the world that they didn't have.

Their thoughts are raided by many possibilities when the doorbell trills breaking their rapid thoughts. Thoughts that are far from the truth. "Welcome sir, can we get you anything?"the mother said kindly but politely. "Uh sure, I'll have a tea thank you,"he said politely and she nodded. "So what would you like to know?" Iris' sister asked impatiently. "I'm just reading my file so I know who you all are but I need to know why you called me here. This should be a joyous occasion, he's watching you from heaven and not from below,"he said chuckling but immediately stopped when he saw their serious faces.

"We believe theirs been some sort of misunderstanding about where he went, a mixup," the mother said politely but nervously this time. "Well you all know that's impossible so until proven let's hear why I'm here,"he said seriously. "Well as we said, we don't believe he deserves to be where he is. It's preposterous, he was a very bad boy. I hate to speak of him this way but it's the truth," Iris' Mum said clearly with no remorse even though she apologized.

"So you believe this Mary because he was a rapist's child and that's your only liable cause,"he asked but rhetorically. He knew the answer. She seemed shocked to say the least. "So Iris is 26 and his sister is the same age but he never had a twin, care to explain,"he asked seriously. "Um...it's just that she's um...my niece kinda. I'm her godmother sorta,"she mumbled and stumbled through her explanation, making no sense. "So you were raped, had Iris and adopted Cecilia who is also a rapist's child but you hate Iris but not Cecilia. I'm very confused,"he said curiously but with a little humor.

He is the only one finding this funny. The whole family, quite small in number, are in shock. It's a revelation. "Cecilia was supposed to be a healing process so I could accept Iris, she's given me no reason to believe she's as bad as Iris,"the mother concluded giving evidence of her claims. "Fine, it seems you all believe this or is their someone who's on Iris' side,"he asked with a hint of compassion for the unloved and unwanted boy.

Cecilia raised her hand. "Ah finally someone to talk to who doesn't hate the victim,"he said like they are all suspects and continued, "everyone out!" "Cecilia tell me from the beginning why you're on his side,"he asked curiously. "He was a good guy. He was always there for me no matter what. Every time I wanted something he'd get a job to buy it for me. We loved being mistaken for twins until he started getting into trouble with some bad people. The thing is my mum took it the wrong way, I never could tell her the truth but.... I have one question," he nodded and she continued, "what the hell happened to my brother?" She looked murderously at the agent. "Look Cecilia it's my job to find out, I'll find out and you'll be the first to know. The problem is it's confidential until we find out who it is and why,"he said kindly, feeling pity and compassion for the first time running through his blood.

With tears she said, "Please just tell me." "Only you, don't tell anyone else,"he said and she nodded, "both my cases are murders Cecilia. I'm sorry." She just burst into tears and muttered under her breath, "How could they! How could they take him away from me and his family." "If theirs something your not telling me, please let me know. I'll find out eventually and it won't be pretty,"he said seriously. "Well it's your job and it's not like I'll be arrested for keeping something petty from you,"she said with deep grief laced into her voice.

So 2 cases, 2 murders, 2 possibilities. Anything could be true. Is it a mistake? Is it real? Who's mistaken and why did they really end up where they are now? Those are questions he needs to answer, it's his job, his responsibility to bring peace of mind to that family. He imagined what it would be like to be in heaven and what it would be like to realize your in hell, that you've never done enough. Sadly this is true for most cases these days. Out of 1000 cases a day, 50 if your lucky, 20 if your not are actual heaven notes. The others are hell notes and hell knows that it ain't pretty where they are.

No one could handle their loved one getting a hell note but any family would be happy with a heaven note except this family, this very plain family with either black or dark brown hair. Their eyes are black, brown and hazel-green. The family doesn't want the son to be in heaven even though he deserves it. He deserves it unlike them and Cleopatra.

Lives can be different, rank can be different but yet, sometimes you get the same people without or with the money and the fame, they're just ungrateful and blind to what was really in front of them the whole time. An angel that came from a bad person. A devil that was hidden in a rich and kind family that she didn't deserve. All of this is what adds up to make the job that more tough, a rich family and a poor family. The need to get answers is going to intertwine and lock into place with these 2 cases. They are mixed and matched together. Both relate to the other so it makes it easier to investigate when your living the life of 2 people at once.
