Life - Cleopatra

Cleopatra was murdered and so that means that they have to find her killer even if she was a bad person, unless it was self-defense. No one is implying that she's a killer but who knows why she went to hell.

It's weird how the agent took to the case. He decided to check her regular places and ask people about their opinion about her, he then would go talk to her bad friends. He went to the hangout of all the teens hoping to kill 2 birds with one stone and thankfully he could. He went straight to the cashier or waiter. "Hello ma'am, can I ask you about your regulars? A Cleopatra Evans. She frequented The Shack,"he says and asks seriously.

"Oh that girl, she was forced to work 'ere. The damn thing vandalized something and she tried stealing stuff from here before too. We were furious that she had to work here. Many things went missing from here when she started working here and I just didn't get it because she's so rich and all,"she says concluding her rant about that girl.

He just looks at her weirdly. "Wow never knew that she was so bad!"he scoffs as if he believed what he said. "What she done now?"the women says with her weird way of talking. "I'm investigating her death. You'll know in a while about her case and another. You know they always announce it on the news,"he says like it's so obvious.

"Oh ye one of the agents. Did she go to hell? She sure as hell didn't deserve heaven,"she says making her declaration. He just looked at her with his measure of authority which shut her up quite quickly. "Thank you for your help,"he says then continues with his investigation.

He is about to walk out when he hears sobs, quiet but violent. He makes his way towards the noise as it gets louder and louder, like a metal detector to a coin. He knocks on the shared bathroom of the café or restaurant, more of a diner. "It's occupied!"a young girl shouted with sobs following. "Well I need to talk to this person in the bathroom since I'm an agent,"he says finally, then she opens the door. She sighs, she looks disheveled but looks at him with her hair messy and her tired, mascara running eyes. "What do you what?"she asks rather rudely. "To figure out if you know my client. Cleopatra,"he says and sees her eyes dull.

"She was my best friend,"she says with a sad smile. "Can I please talk to you about her?"he asks but more like commands. She nods. "Well she was a good girl but she got involved with bad people and she dragged me down with her. I just didn't have a motivation to keep being involved. She used to bully a lot of people, especially her boyfriends ex. She wanted to make sure she knew that no one could mess with her. I know she wanted me to help her do these things and stay involved but I realized I was getting into a lot of trouble so I fought with her and it was a big blow up. I could've gotten killed by her and her friends, she didn't though,"she concluded with sad tears falling slowly down her cheeks.

He offered her tissues and she took them with a sad smile evident on her face. He could see the sorrow in her eyes. "What's your name?"he asks kindly, while patting her back slowly. "Mallory,"she says straightforwardly. "Thanks for telling me all that, is there is anything else,"he asks at the same time. Her eyes widen as if she's remembered something. She mumbles and stumbles trying to get up. "I have to go sorry I forgot I have an appointment," she says hurriedly. He nods.

He knew she didn't want to say, whether because she feared her life or some other reason, he wouldn't know. He knows there are a lot of secrets hidden in Cleopatras life that need uncovering. The funeral will be after tomorrow so everyone she knows will come, so will Iris' family since his funeral is the same day.

He walks thinking about how many secrets will be revealed at the funeral and how unhappy people will be with the end result of his findings. Cleopatra's destination is correct, from all the evidence he has gained so far. It's accurate and precise. He continued his walk home thinking about all he'd done in his life and his result to his end. He knows he has to check iris' background tomorrow. The things is that he seems to be a great person. After checking some history about Iris, he will go to the funerals and uncover more then what he bargained for.

Finally some things will be revealed if all goes well. Sometimes people can't make it to funerals and other times they just don't want to come because of the secrets. They're like skeletons in a closet, they need to stay hidden or they'll be revealed with tragedy for everyone.

The problem is with secrets, they can't all be revealed at once. They're always revealed slowly and quite sadly it's always been that way. Cleopatra has too many for this to be the case, maybe 2 at a time will do. For Iris he doesn't own any skeletons, maybe just a small bone or a calcium piece that he doesn't want anyone to see.

The problem with them is that they both hid things and they both went to unexpected places according to their families. It's weird! The rich and the poor, at a showdown, the angel and the evil one. What do you expect of the secrets of an angel? What do you expect of the secrets of an evil one? That's the true question. What was so bad or good that it needed to be hidden so no one would know?
