Chapter 5 & Chapter 6

CHAPTER FIVE

I woke up with a groan dripping from my lips and slid my finger over the face of my phone screen to stop the persistent shrilling of my alarm. I was not prepared for my first day. It was hard enough in regular public school when you moved from middle school to being a freshman in highschool. Coming to a completely different learning facility in your senior year was like being a foreign exchange student in a different country.

"Rise and shine roomie!" Dee squealed, bouncing into the room. She looked great in a thin beige long sleeve with black low rise jeans. Her curls were piled in a messy bun with loose tendrils hanging at her temples.

"You're like the energizer bunny." I scowled, leaning up on my elbows.

"That's only because I've had a ton of coffee." She beamed.

She looked at her dainty copper watch and her eyes widened comically.

"You've got twenty minutes to get ready and I am sure you don't want to look like a zombie on your first day."
