Chapter 13

CHAPTER THIRTEEN

I paced back and forth in my bedroom. My nerves were eating away at my insides like termites making a feast out of rotten wood.

When it was five minutes until midnight, my stomach twisted with nervous nausea. My palms were dampened with sweat, and I felt like I had been put under a heating lamp.

I sucked in a deep searing breath, hoping it would fill me with confidence and the ability to function properly when I'm around him. My mind was as fierce as a tornado, different feelings mangled together like the debris circling inside the winds of a fearsome storm.

I grabbed a small rag and dampened it with some of my bottled water and wiped my face. It didn't help.

Cheese balls.. Why did he affect me like this? I raked my hands through my hair and pulled it into a ponytail before I headed out of my room.

I exited my building and immediately spotted him. He was leaning against the exterior wall. Looking like a dark angel thats come to bestow justice.
