Chapter 20 : OUTING

Black's POV

We went to a private resort in Cavite after our work, we will be staying here for the next two days. This is a treat for our employees whose been doing their best to adjust to us. I know that we're hard to deal with given the fact that it's been only a few months since we started working there but all of them were nice and helping us a lot. I told Dad about it and he even wanted to tag along, thank God Tito stopped him.

I got in Mich’s car with Jamaine while the others rented a car, The trip took only less than 2 hours because there was no traffic. The place is nice, It's a high-end resort where you can only rent big vacation houses if you plan to stay here.

We rented 1 vacation house for our boys' staff and 2 vacation houses for us and all our girl's employees.

Mich, Jamaine, and I are staying in one room. We're unpacking our things when Jamaine asked a question.

"Do you know the owner of this resort?" My eyes narrowed as Mich smiled and looked at me so I couldn't help but think that she will bring another catastrophe in my day.

"I haven't forgotten what you did 4 days ago Mich! So don't give me shits again!" I glared at her but she grins.

"I don't know who owns this, I just heard good feedback about this resort" She answered with a mischievous smile. I don't want this feeling. I know she's up to something.

"O-kay guys! Can we rest first? Hehe!" Jamaine awkwardly said. She's still not used to us. She thought Mich and I were fighting which Mich immediately responded that it's our normal conversation and that's how comfortable we are with each other.

When we're done arranging out things, I lied down and the two followed.

"Ghad! I miss him!" Mich suddenly exclaimed. Her voice sounded sad. I really don't get this relationship thing, It will make you mad, sad, stress, and all the negative feeling.

"Haven't you talked to him yet?" Jamaine asked her.

"Tsk! I won't lower my pride. It's okay if I was the one at fault! I will come running and apologize! He should be the one to run after me! He's unbelievable! Aish! Let's not talk about it anymore, I'm just getting more annoyed! How are you and Ken? " Mich burst out but try to direct the attention to Jamaine and Ken's relationship.

"We're just chill. So far, no fight," she said proudly. I smiled because she seems happy. I think that's what a relationship should be?

"Good for you! It seems that I'm the only broken-hearted among the three of us!" She said while pouting so my expression changed and I rolled my eyes. She really gets on my nerves sometimes but since she entered a relationship, it becomes most of the time. Does love really change people?

"How are you and James?" Mich asked me. I looked at the ceiling. I feel like they are looking at me and waiting for my answer.

"We're still friends!" I answered but Mich added "with Benefits" If only Jamaine wasn't between us I would have kicked her.

"We're not having sex crazy lady!" They both laughed at my answer.

"That's not what I mean Black. Benefits mean holding hands, hugging, kissing. What's going through your mind?" Mich said while laughing her ass out. Jamaine can't help but laugh as well.

"We don't do any of that either. We're clearly are just friends" I stated.

"If you say so. Anyway, Wanna go outside? we still have time?" Mich asked. It's already 10 pm and I don't feel like going outside. I just stayed in the room while the two of them explore the place. Well, I have all my time to explore tomorrow, I need to rest tonight.

I woke up with no one around. I look at the clock it's 7 am. I slept longer than I should have. I planned to wake up at 5 and watch the sunrise but whatever, I'll do that tomorrow. I just changed into black sleeveless and short shorts.

I think the others went to the beach already. I went outside and scan the view, it really is a high-end resort. It gives a Hawaii vibe. Geez! I suddenly miss visiting Hawaii. I was feeling the sun as it hits my skin when I saw a guy jogging towards the vacation house beside us.

"Dash Tejada?" "Black?" we said in unison so he laughed but I didn't. First, I thought I was whispering, Second, Why does he know my name?

"How do you know my name? And Why are you here?" He was shaken by my question, I know my question was a bit harsh but I can't help it, It's an impossible coincidence. I met him once but it's impossible to forget him, he has a nice feature and he is a cousin of that Freaking Tejada!!

"Well, I was around when your father introduces you to the board. And Daze invited me here as well! Didn't know that you're here though"

I nodded but I'm dying to ask something, I just hope that he'll say no.

"Is Daze here too?" I don't know what's funny about my question because he's laughing at me.

"Didn't Daze invited you here? This Resort is one of Tejada's Property"

"No freaking Way!?" I exclaimed that made him chuckle.

"Well? Yeah!? Daze is here. Aren't you, his girlfriend?" he suddenly asked so I almost shouted at him.

“Hell no! That’s the most disrespectful question I have heard in my entire life ” I answered with an annoyed look. Why would he think that?

"Sorry! I just thought you two are dating because I've seen you two walking hand by hand at the party?" he said in an apologetic look. I smiled awkwardly. Did I snap at him? geez! just being associated with Daze made me mad.

"well, there's an explanation to that but to make it simple, he blackmailed me to let him hold my hand, no offense but I hate your cousin!" I declared that made him laugh again.

"It's really unusual that someone refused Daze!" I smirked at his statement.

"Well, maybe if our first encounter wasn't ugly-- Oh no! Even our second and third encounters are ugly. He's just a complete definition of douchebag, again, no offense. "

"non was taken. if you don't mind, what happened in your encounter with Daze?" He asked politely but I refused. I don't intend to relive those bad memories

"Oh geez! Please don't ask that! I don't want to remember those things"

"Ahaha okay! Wanna walk around? I can accompany you he said and smiled again. I noticed that his smiles now look carefree than when he smiled at the party. He doesn't look like a businessman now, more like a gym instruction because he's so fit.

He indeed accompanied me to tour the resort. They have a large resort, Aside from the beach, they also have a lot of pools.

When we visit their biggest pool, I saw Mich and take note, she's with the man I hate. I thought I would never see him again, but this man really won't let that happened and my best friend is his accomplice...

Mich went up to the pool and approached me. She's wearing a red bikini. Is she seducing all the guys here?

"Hi, Dash? .... Come on! Black let's swim" I immediately backed away because she would have touched me and pulled me to the pool.

"Later!" I said and glared at her. she smiled wittingly.

"It's up to you! Someone's waiting" she teases before running back to the pool.

"Oh, they are here!" I looked at what Dash was looking at, There was a group of women and men approaching us. When they reached us, a woman immediately hugged Dash.

"Guys, I want you to meet Black, Daze's Friend. Black, I want you to meet Maggie my sister, Steffany, Nica, Kurl, Rommel, and Vince" He introduced him one by one. I just smiled. As if I learned all their names that fast.

"Err ---. Give me some time to memorize your name" I said making them laugh. Seriously? Am I a comedian now? They just arrived here and Dash will accompany them to their room. I glanced at where Mich is and saw Daze staring at us with his unhappy expression, it seems he's looking at something unpleasant. What the hell is his problem?

Dash asks if I want to join them for breakfast, I just agreed because I can't stay here either, there's a big possibility that anytime, Daze will come at me.

When we arrived at their vacation house, everyone went to their room and get changed, I am waiting at the sala when someone approached me.

"Hi" She greeted and sits beside me.

"Maggie, right?" I hesitantly ask.

"You got it right! I didn't know you and Daze were close." She remarks.

"Actually ---" I was about to deny it because we are no way close but she cut me off

"We often see you at the bar, Dancing, kissing, and dumping a lot of guys there. No offense but you have a bad reputation" she said while still smiling and looking at me as if she's waiting for my reaction.

"It's okay, My reputation precedes me" I answered and smirk. I could care less what other people say about me. Their opinion doesn't define me.

"Well, That's what rumors say, I can't judge because I don't know a thing about you. " She said again. What is she expecting me to say after that? She's weird.

"I'm loss of words!" I said. She chuckled and shake her head.

"I mean, We could be friends, What do you think?" she asks. I forced a smile. Damn! What should I say? I don't want to be friends with anyone, especially with someone I just met but it would be rude if I said no.

"Don't be pressured. save the answer for later, I'm just saying there's a huge possibility of us being friends" She Commented and smile at me. Before I answered the others arrives.

"Did Maggie bug you with some senseless things?" Dash asked as soon as he reached me.

"Not really. She's being nice" I said.

"It's too early to say that. Anyway. Join us in our breakfast." He said without waiting for me to answer. They already asked the resort management to prepare a feast at the back of their vacation house. Geez! These Tejada's are just invading my life as they please.
