Chapter 21 OUTING PART II

Black's POV

People might say I am KJ but I don't care, I just want to avoid any possible interaction with Daze. After the breakfast I had with the Tejada's and their friends, I went back to my room and lock myself up and enjoy watching and eating. Mich and Jamaine have been forcing me to come with them but I strictly refuse, I know Mich will try to help Daze to annoy me and that's the last thing I want.

When the sun sets, I decided to go for a swim, I changed into my swimsuit, which is a black string bikini, I also wear my knee-length see-through Cardigan.

I'm walking around trying to find a place where Daze is not around when someone walks with me. I looked at him and nodded as a greeting.

"Looking for your friends? They are with us. Good thing, I'm heading there!" He politely said and flashed a smile.

"I actually wanna roam around first before heading there," I said. It's really not in my plan to meet with them but it would be rude if I shut off Dash's offer.

"Oh! I see! I am a good company if you like?" He asks and smiles shyly. I stared at him for a few seconds before giving him my answer.

"Sure" I simply answered and continued walking

we've been walking for quite a while and for some reason, Dash comfortably narrating the story of his life. I am amazed and pitied him at the same time. We really don't know how tough shit is that people are dealing with just by looking at them. Dash looks perfect, the type of man who will sweep you off of your feet but upon hearing his story and the baggage he carried, you'll know how flawed he is, that he also made a lot of wrong turns in life.

"Dash, Just don't fall in love with me just because you saw some similarities of your ex in me, coz I won't catch you!" I jokingly said when he concluded his story. He laughed at me and mess my hair.

"Don't worry! I won't. Let's go!" He said and headed to the pool where others are currently swimming. I secretly smiled. I guess all of us are dealing with all the shits that life is throwing us.

Throughout my half-hour stay in the pool, I didn't sight Daze which is a good thing. I just observe the people in the pool, Mich seems getting along with Dash's friends and now walking towards the cottage with them while Jamaine is with our co-workers. When I got bored staying in the water, I decided to stop and return to the house. I am climbing the pool stairs when someone offered a hand, I look up and saw Daze with his wet hair. His abs are visible as well because he's only wearing black trunk shorts that complimented his fair skin.

He smiled sweetly which made me avoid his gaze. Wait! This is not right! Why do I find him surprisingly attractive?

I purposely ignored his hands but Daze being Daze pulled me hard enough to bump into him. The hell! A bolt of electricity rush through my body when our skin touched. I pushed him far enough to put some space between us. He's having fun teasing me, it's all written all over his face. He looks at me from head to toe with his amused turn to hard expression that made me feel conscious, I immediately wear the cardigan I placed on one of the beach chairs. What the heck was that? Is my body unpleasant to look at? I feel so uncomfortable with his expression. Geez! I am confident with my body but the way he looks at me earlier took a blow to my confidence.

Due to annoyance, I started walking towards the cottage, I can be anywhere but here where Daze is. He really has a knack for pissing me off. But to my amusement, he wrapped a towel around me and walk by my side without talking. Is he being a gentleman? or is it also one of his ploys?

We reached the cottage and found the others sitting in a circle

"hey! Join us!" Mich said and pulled me without waiting for my answer. I have no choice but to stay than throw tantrums.

unluckily, Daze is in front of me but he's not looking at me, he's glaring directly at Dash who's sitting beside me.

this is our current sitting arrangement.

Maggie, Daze, Steff, Nica, Kurl, Vince, Rommel, Dash, Me, Mich, Daryl.

"Okay! Let's have some fun by playing this!" Maggie shouted and made her friends cheer, including Mich who obviously wanted to play the game.

"But there's a twist. Everyone who chooses Truth will drink this hard liquor" She said as she smiles that made Dash shake his head. He seems unhappy with the idea of his twin.

"No complaints! The first spin!" she said as she spins the bottle

"Truth" Nica shouted in excitement when the bottle points at her

"Are you still in love with your ex?" Maggie asked and glance at the guy I forgot the name.

"No!" Nica answered quickly and drank a full shot of liquor.

"Dare!" Mich said excitedly when the bottle stops at her.

Typical Mich. Always up for the challenges.

"French kiss the hottest guy you found in the circle. For 15 seconds" we were shocked by what Nica said but eventually, they start cheering Mich.

I remind her that she has a boyfriend but she just smiled at me and stood up. This freaking girl! I thought she was going to approach Dash or Daze but she approached a man and without saying anything she pulled him and kissed him. We were all surprised! I am ready to pull her but I tried my hardest to remind myself that this is a game and Mich is the one to choose what she wants to do. But still, I don't feel comfortable seeing her kissing another man when she's in a relationship.

"Times up!" Maggie said. The guy flashed a smile as if he won the lottery. It made me roll my eyes.

"Nice Vince!" The person next to him said.

When Mich came back, she smiled and said "Just for fun" as she spins the bottle that ended up pointing at Steff, she chose the truth, and knowing Mich, she will ask the silliest question she could ask.

"Do you ever had sex with anyone in this circle?" We almost choked even though we didn't drink anything when Mich asks that No matter how crazy and personal the question is, there's no rule or limit in asking questions so no one complains but Steff is giving her an 'Are you kidding me look' expression.

"There are no rules!" Mich said while smiling foolishly. I can visualize them badmouthing Mich once we're out of sight. This girl is crazy! No wonder she's my best friend.

"Yes," I noticed that everyone gaze at Daze, It's just a short moment but Daze's expression changed when Steff answers but he hide it so well by drinking the beer he's holding.

I know his past is none of my business and even his present, she can devirginize all the women he wants for all I care, But I feel kind of disappointed which I am not supposed to feel. I shrug the thought out f my head and continue with the game.

The bottle pointed at Daryl and he chose to dare.

"Kiss the girl's neck beside you" She looks at Mich and asks her permission and Mich gave him consent.

Wow! Mich! Playing hard tonight! I swear I'm going to knock some sense in her after this game.

The game continued and spun multiple times. It is Mich's turn again. She chooses Truth this time so Maggie asks her another personal question.

"Have you ever had sex?" Maggie repeated what Mich had asked Steff.

"yes" Mich smiled sweetly. Mich and I promised that we will give our virginity to the guy we will marry but when she lost it to his current boyfriend, I couldn't say a thing because it's her personal life. She's old enough to do what she wants but part of me is sad and disappointed because she broke our promise. It's all done anyway so I just let it go.

When mich spins the bottle, it pointed at Vince, the guy she kissed earlier. He chooses Dare although Mich is asking questionable questions and out of this world dare. What a brave man he is.

"Lick the nipple of ......... the guy beside you" The friends were stunned, laugh, and cheer by what Mich said while Vince complained.

"No KJ, please! It's just for fun" Maggie said so Vince just end up scratching his head and did Michelle's command. We all laugh and some of them teased Vince. His expression shows how disgusting the thing he did, he even gurgle the beer and act as if he is washing his tongue.

"Truth!" Daze said when the bottle points at him

"Do you still have feelings for Steff?" The question made Steff cough and automatically, my eyes landed on Daze. He looks serious. Before he answers, our eyes meet and I can't look away because I feel like if I look away, I will lose.

"Yeah" He answers and drinks the liquor.

For some reason, his answer annoys me. How can he flirt with someone if he loves another? I want to roll my eyes and look away, but before I do that, he looks at the bottle and spins it.

I don't know if luck just left me or it is destiny to be asked by him.

"Truth" I don't want to dare because I know how crazy Daze is

"Can you forgive me?" He asks that surely cause misconception. Everyone turned quiet and waiting for my answer. Damn Daze for putting me on the spot!

"Sure!" I said emphatically and drank the liquor. I had to lie because this is the only way to shut Daze and stop him from stirring anything. This game is already a drag at is now and I don't want to put myself in a situation where I forced them to believe that nothing is going on between me and Daze.

Daze gave me a look as if saying that I am lying. I just ignored him as the game continues.

After a few spins, the bottle finally points to Dash. The guy has Luck on his side because this is the first time that the bottle points at him.

He chooses so Maggie gave her the best Dare she could give.

"Kiss passionately the girl you find attractive" After Maggie said that, Dash turned to me and smile but before he could do anything, someone pulled me up and drag me somewhere.

Daze POV

The time he laid his eyes on her, I didn't have the time to think and pulled her away from them. I won't let him have his way and kiss her.

When we reached the house they are staying, she immediately pulled her hand away.

"What the hell? Why did you pull me?" she shouted at me. I ignored what she said and kissed her. Just a quick kiss that she didn't have a chance to push me because I already pulled away.

"Wow! Daze! Just Wow!!?" she said full of sarcasm as she wiped her lips. I admit, it hurts.

"I-m s-sor ---" I said but she cut me off.

"STOP! The word sorry doesn't matter to you because you meant everything you did!". she said in a low voice but I can tell by her tone that she is so pissed.

"That's because I like you! I love you so much!" I said. her expression suddenly changed but eventually, she smirked.

"I don't forget that you are Daze Tejada, A Liar". After she said that, she turned her back on me and walks away without looking back.

Few minutes passed and I'm still standing where she left me until I feel a presence behind me. I know who it is, he loves observing people from the back.

"What?" I ask.

"It was just a game. What could I do? She's the one I found attractive" Dash said which made me balled my fist.

Dash is my favorite cousin, we understand each other. He's like a brother to me even a lot of people pits us against each other. But this is the first time I feel like he's a threat and I hate myself for that.

"Dash, This is not up for discussion so don't even!" I said in my serious tone and left without waiting for his answer.
