Legend of the jade phoenix

﻿A Phoenix is a mythological bird that symbolizes longevity , grace and high virtue. 


 According to the legend,A child born on the night of the halei huixing would bring untold change to world. A change that would occur when this Phoenix child met the blood jade emperor. 


 A celebration is held to welcome the Halei huixing which came every sixty years. While the servants of the royal family prepare for the comet ,the news that the empress is in labor is brought to the kings pavallion, A group called the black crescent had been formed in east qing by the rebels to kill any child born on the Halei huixing and stop the "untold change " . 


 Therefore the birth of the princess was hidden and all the court ladies, mid wives and maid in attendance to the empress were murdered. 


 Meanwhile in qintong the empress had been accused of plotting a rebellion against the emperor and was tortured to death by the prime minister Tang. 


 The Tang clan was the most prestigious clan after the Long clan (Royal family), they had served served as prime ministers to the Emperor since the old days the present head of the Tang clan Tang Rhong guang was a greedy man who wanted to rule Qintong so he used his wealth to buy the heart of the people and brainwashed the Emperor so that he was under his control and he began to rule qintong behind the scenes.
