Amulet was the runt of her litter. As she grew a strange mark appeared on her right eye that once she reached maturity it began to cause complications and finding her mate only accelerated her complications. Now her and her mate Desmond are on the hunt to answer the enigma that is her birthmark. Little do they know following this trail will turn the hunters in the the hunted.

Runt

The next morning Amy woke to a warm feeling enveloping her. When she opened her eyes she noticed that the a familiar arm was wrapped around her. She smiled as she slowly shifted from Des' hold. Once she was free she leaned down and licked his cheek causing him to stir. She gently whispered in his ear, "shhh, try to get some sleep my love. I am going to be right back." 


Des smiled in his sleep and Amy silently slipped out of the den. She was greeted by Xander. 


Xander's face was cold and he gave her a slight nod, "Come." 


Amy nodded as she deflated a little. She followed behind him quietly Xander led her to his small group. 


"I don't think we have had proper introductions. This is Blaine and Maxis." 


Amy looked at the two and they shared similar features to Xander. Blaine with his dark brown fur and blue eyes and Maxis with his black fur and brown eyes.
