Amy was jolted out of her sleep by a sharp pain in gut. She curled up letting out a small whine. Des immediately rose his head as he nuzzled her cheek. "Amy?"
"Sorry, just a little discomfort."
"Was it my fault?" Des asked.
"No...no it wasn't your fault. I didn't mean to make you worry." She gave him a light reassuring lick on his cheek as she stood up. Des followed behind her as they left their makeshift den.
Amy squinted as her eyes adjusted. "Uhh Amy?" She turned to face des and noticed that she would see branches all along her back.
"What?" She gasped as she began to circle.
"Its your mark it keeps branching out further and further."
"Well lets try to regroup with the rest of our pack before it completely covers me."
Des gave Amy a slight nod before trailing behind her.
