Amulet was the runt of her litter. As she grew a strange mark appeared on her right eye that once she reached maturity it began to cause complications and finding her mate only accelerated her complications. Now her and her mate Desmond are on the hunt to answer the enigma that is her birthmark. Little do they know following this trail will turn the hunters in the the hunted.

The group collectively watched in awe as their mothers voice was now escaping Nan's lips. 


"I know I have a lot to explain children. I am so sorry that I couldn't stay longer on the night of the full moon. I figured reaching out to a soul champion might make this easy on me. I can assure you that I have been watching over you all the entire time. I knew when Amy's mark started to branch farther that my time was running out. I can't stay in Nan's body for long, it drains her energy" 


Irene was squeezing her hands together tight. Blaine felt her unease and slowly walked over to her gently nipping at her hands so that she will stop. 


The boys all started barking at their mother at once. 


Amy looked at Des and he nodded as he barked at the group. The boys calmed down and looked up at Amy. 


Serenity smiled, "That's the question I was waiting for."
