New Beginnings

The moment she was released her mind went to an escape plan so she could go home, but soon that thought turned to ash.

"Don't even think about it, you know I can kill your daughter at any moment," he said warningly.

She just rolled her eyes wishing she'd run earlier and not trusted stupid anonymous letters.

As she got into his car on her way to a new life unknown to others she thought about her life.

Why am I doomed to a life of terrible happenings. My daughters life was changed too when she was raped but no one ever did anything about that, but as soon as someone murders someone in self defense then it's the polices problem. They never let me go to court to fight my case. Who cares anyways.

She was brought out of her thoughts when she felt a needle being inserted into her neck and before she could do anything colors had faded from her mind.

5 Days Later

She awoke to a dark, musty place full of cobwebs. Really was this necessary.

A few minutes later

"So you're finally awake, I thought you might have died," he said with a smirk.

"And you didn't think to check or call a doctor," she said her anger raising.

"Nah, we did check otherwise you'd be in a garbage bin ready to be buried by your family maybe, unless the police didn't find you. An escaped convict a nice look to it on a tombstone," he said sarcastically.

"Yeah, not really," she laughed sarcastically.

"Anyways I'm here to tell you you're mission is in two days. The first day is training the second day will also be training and preparation to leave. The man you have to impress is the prince of England and he's looking for people he can trust to work for him as well as a marriage mate. You will have to prove for 2 months under extensive surveillance that you can be trusted. So no contacting us and be someone he'll trust. Later we'll contact you and tell you the rest," he said professionally.

2 months that's insane I'm never going to see my baby girl again. What have I gotten myself into.

"What, you said it was a rich man you never said it was the prince of our very own country 'I might have to kill later.' Are you setting me up to end up where I came from because if you are trust me you're gonna fail miserably," She threateningly.

She winced as he grabbed her by her arm.

"Listen to me you agreed and that's all that matters. Now do it or I kill your daughter. And even if I am setting you up to get sent back to jail you still have to do it," he said through gritted teeth.

"And if you don't believe me see what's she's doing now,"he said gesturing to the tablet.

He was showing her her daughter at school, her eyes widened at how he knew who her daughter was. She still noticed her child's beauty as she talked happily to one of her classmates so innocent and yet so vulnerable to what could happen again.

"I'm telling you know, I'll do what that man did and worse right in front of you then kill her and let you suffer till you die of sadness. Got it," he said seriously.

She nodded slowly. She was put back into the room she had to sleep in.

What has my life become from a carefree and happy mom. To a protector of her daughter to a murderer of a man. To being part of a gang bent on killing the prince. She knew she would have to do it for her daughters life-sake.

With that last thoughts in her mind she drifted off into a dreamless heaven of darkness and serenity.
