Training Session and the New Job

"Good morning, so let's start your first session of learning how to fight," he said nonchalantly. "Okay but what about learning more about the prince," I said hopefully.

"Let's start okay," he said finally. I'm pretty sure this isn't a training center or it wasn't anything for that matter. I started by hitting the punching bag but by the time I did one minute of it, I was dead, my muscles were burning and I thought they were tearing apart.

After 2 days of training

"Are you one of the people trying to get in here to be his wife or work here?"she said plainly. "Well I'm here to work I'm pretty sure I can't be his wife I'm not good enough," I said seriously.

"Well it's a 2 month process if you want to work here and a never long process if you want to be his wife cause I think he'll be fine looking for one on his own," she said laughing. "Oh well how does the process work?" I said curiously. "Sorry we're not allowed to say cause every time it's different but you won't be alone is all I can say. Guards show her her quarters," she said.

I walked through the great walls of the castle seeing every inch of its beauty from the red colored walls to the carpeted floors. Hearing the sounds of giggles is what took me out of my trance but I was immediately pushed into my quarters, but as I'd learned I was not allowed to talk back if they hurt me because I was lower than the guards. So step 1 complete.

After 2 months

After the torment of the process was over I could start working here though I wasn't sure what that was and I hadn't met the prince or discovered the source of the happiest giggles I've ever heard because my daughter was never that happy anymore.

I would probably never tell anyone the reason why but I hoped maybe this might give me a new beginning and just maybe I can tell someone about their evil plan.

"Excuse me, are you Tina ?" She said quizzically. "Yes,"I said. "Oh please come with me the prince wants to meet our only new worker," she said happily. "Wait, I'm the only one who made it?" I said worried. "Well yes, because the other people were just trying to kill the prince but anyways he's the king now,"she said worriedly.

"Come in," he said stressfully.

"Sir, this is the new worker," she said and walked out the door leaving me alone with the king. I kept my head low to show respect. "Okay so I just wanted to say that it's taking a lot for me to let you stay here because I could easily have let you go due to the people who were there. But I did it for many reasons you'll find out later," he said friendly.

He continued, "You can call me Blake mostly because I hate feeling like I'm higher than people and please stop looking down." "Okay," I said politely.

"You will be working with the horses. Do you know how or shall I send someone to teach you how?" Blake said inquisitively. "I know how thanks,"I said thankfully. "If you don't mind me asking how did you learn how to take care of horses?" Blake asked plainly. "Well I grew up learning and training to ride horses but things didn't work out when I grew up so I had no choice but to work a different way,"I said sadly. He seemed to notice and I dreaded the next question.

"So why did you end up in jail, my people did a check," Blake asked questioningly. "Well some people came back for my daughter and I fought back in self defense and I hit him in the spot, well in the end he died. The police kept saying I was a murderer so I was not allowed to go to court and I was in solitary confinement for 3 years,"I said truthfully.

"Okay, you start tomorrow. I might come for a ride tomorrow with some people. So you start at 6am until 1pm and then you'll take care of my daughter until 7pm. One last question, are you ever planing on seeing your daughter?" Blake said. "Well I want to see her but certain events will never permit me because my life is full of bad luck. I'm pretty sure I'll never see her again but I'll make sure to be on time for my job, may I leave now," I said crying. "Yes you may leave and maybe some day you'll tell me about these certain events and if they affect your country in any way," he said straightforwardly.
