CHAPTER TWO

Samuel's POV

I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't realize that there was a slight pressure on my left shoulder, I snapped out of my thought and turned to see my angel sleeping on my shoulder in particular without any care. And damn it felt natural as thou this was one of our habits.

Gently, I adjusted the seats and armrest to make her lie comfortably and also closed the aisle curtain to give us privacy. Cuddling her in my arms felt surreal and I just can't help but admire her face, she such a rare natural beauty. Her face wasn't coated with all these ladies foundation,just a glossed cute pouting lips that had me fighting the urge to kiss her and damn she has that sweet smiling face even when she's asleep and those cute lashes casting a slight shadow under her eyes. She's an epitome of sleeping beauty, I just can't stop staring at her even thou I might seem creepy right now but heck if I care. I know I should be doing some paper works I came with in order to reduce my workload for when I get home but I don't care because just staring at my Angel sleeping is worth it for all the sleepless night I might have to endure. Between staring and admiring my sleeping beauty I fell asleep as well.

Sabine's POV

' uhmm...this pillow is so comfy I can sleep in all day'

Wait!!!.... I'm in a plane and pillows aren't this warm and moving??

I opened my eyes slowly just to be captured by the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen especially coming from Nigeria where everyone has brown eyes.

It has the amazing combination of baby blue and grey,clear and sparkly like the ocean at rest.

I was snapped out of my daze when I felt an arm tighten around me.

"Hey... i'm sorry for falling asleep on you like that,I don't know what came over me to do that and inconvenience you. I'm sorry." I muttered an apology to him moving out of his arm and back to my seat.

"No worries to that ,i actually had a nice and comfortable nap. So don't beat yourself up on it and besides you were quite cudly and warm."

The handsome stranger said trying to lighten up the awkward and embarrassing moment but what he said last made me shy and more embarrassed.

I laughed it off and he joined me too laughing. Just then we heard a throat being cleared causing us to shut up, then he opened up the blinds which only then did I noticed that they were closed blocking the view of the aisle .

The air hostess started talking but all I could think about was how nice and soothing his laugh sounded. I was still in my daydream when I felt a tap on my cheek, that's when I realized that I was just staring and smiling goofily while the air hostess was talking to me. I felt my whole face heat up in embarrassment wondering what he must be thinking about how silly I'm acting, good thing I'm caramel in complexion so my blushing cheeks or red ears are not visible . I mumbled a quiet sorry and turned to the air hostess to order.

"What's on the menu please?"

She started listing out from Burger , Pizza, fish sticks, fries and so on ,so I just cut her off and asked for two slice of pepperoni pizza with fries and a chilled coke.

"I'll have the same as her please but make it three slices and a chocolate cake."

I heard my handsome seatmate order then she left to the next row which happened to be pervy Liam and that girl.

I wonder what they have been up to back there.

Just then I started craving for chocolate cake but I didn't want to call her back. But then how am I going to cope when he'll be eating it beside me and chocolate cake is my all time favorite.

Once again I was snapped out of my Lamentation on not eating my chocolate cake by a tap on cheek. Seeing those mesmerizing eyes again, I narrowed my eyes at him.....Like what the heck!!!

Tapping my cheek my CHEEK!!!

Like I don't even know him or is it because I fell asleep on him??

It wasn't even INTENTIONAL !!!

Seeing narrowed eyes,he raised his hands in surrender

"Sorry?? You were spacing out alot making me want to join you in wherever land you were maybe it will be more interesting than my company here"

He tried to apologise ??!! With a smirk playing on his lips.

Damn,he was just wanting my company and he must have felt as though I was ignoring him.

"Oh... sorry about that, I didn't mean to make you feel that way" I apologized sincerely, I was actually flattered that he was paying attention to me that much and wanting my company.

"Hey ....no problemo!! But if you found me boring I won't be offended cause I actually am."

He said with humor making me laugh

"No no don't say that...if it's being boring, I'll be the queen of boredom"

I said laughing in between with him laughing as well

"Are we seriously competing who is more boring right now...!!!??

What a weird way of getting to know each other!!""

He said laughing harder.

"But you really are a queen, and let's just start with an African queen." He said suddenly turning serious looking into my eyes making me feel weird in my tummy,like all those feelings I read in books.

"Are you trying to say that I'm beautiful..?". I asked shyly in a flirty manner.

What..!!?? Don't judge me,it's not like we would see again so why not enjoy the moment with this Greek god.... Damn...!! This guy is so fine.

" Beauty beyond words, literally the queen of all beauties I've ever laid eyes on." He said still looking so serious,eyes boring deep into mine.

Woah dude..chill out for a bit, what's making him go all serious about me like that we're literally still strangers .

"Thanks....but I'm actually referred with princess, literally the meaning of my name. So being called princess is quite contradicting" I said playfully trying to relieve the serious atmosphere.

He was about to reply when another air hostess came back with a trolley and served us our meal. We thanked her and started eating after sanitizing our hands with a moist towelette .

"So princess huh!?" He asked after taking a bite out of his Pizza.

"Yep...I was actually named after a German family friend and don't ask for the name cause only my dad pronounces it to an extent. And when I meet my namesake, I'm gonna ask for the proper prononciation so I won't make a blunder . Well back home everyone is allowed to call me with the Nigerian version of the name,so let's stick to the nickname."

"Hmmm....ok,that's cool. So you speak German??" He asked nervously

"Not well...but I understand little things here and there " I replied knowing fully where he's heading at.

"So it's safe to say that you heard what I said with Liam huh??" He asked putting his face in his hands peeking at me between fingers smiling shyly.

Called it!!!!

"Well it didn't matter,it only proved to me how much of a gentleman you are and you didn't even know me" I heard him mumur something but I didn't pay mind as I continued talking

" but you were willing to protect me and that is something I admire"I finished smiling softly pulling his hands away from his face.

"What the.....are you blushing for me..!!??" I asked surprised when I saw his red cheeks and ears

He pulled away his hands from my trip touching his face...

"Wh... what..at . blushing? I don't blush. T..th.... the place is stuffy and ho...hot because of the hot pizza..?!!? Yeah...th.. that's it. Why would I blush??!! He stuttered.

I started laughing softly.... Sue me but the look on his face was freaking hilarious and it's not everyday I see a blushing hottie. He just glared at me making me turn my laugh into cough and clear my throat.

"Yeah.... you're right, the pizza is making the place hot and stuffy. Besides, you're too manly to blush right!??" I told him sacarstically with humor raising an eyebrow at him.

He just threw a fry at my face telling me to shut up making me laugh more,he then joined me laughing as well.

After we calmed down,we continued eating.

"And you say you're the queen of boredom" he said nudging my shoulder,I nudged him back too smiling while eating. He just laughed softly and continued eating too.

"By the way call me Xavi,since we're on the nickname basis now."

"Ok...Xavi if you say so" I smiled thinking of how nice his name sounded

"Yea.... just waiting for when we will be on first name basis." He told me giving me a small smile his eyes twinkling.... making me blush.

"So you believe that this won't be our last meeting..??" I couldn't help but ask because seriously I won't mind meeting him again and again.

"Well .... never say never" he said smiling ever so gorgeously at me making my heart flip over and over . Is it a crime to say I'm crushing hard already..!!??

"Uhmmmm..... never say never,let fate decide." I agreed with him.

Before I knew it,I finished my meal I turned to find Xavi staring at me.

"What ?? Is there something one my face?? " I asked him while touching my face because of the way he was staring at me so seriously.

Good thing I don't wear much make-up cause I don't want to risk looking like a smudged cake ....

"No... nothing like that. Your face is perfect." With that I couldn't stop myself from blushing hard...and for me blushing comes in various forms like now

I started choking while my face heated up in embarrassment . Xavier started patting my back and gave me coke to drink. Hold up!!! My coke Is finished....that means I'm drinking his coke from the same cup he had been drinking and his saliva all over. Freaking out moment added to my fan girl moment!!!

"Are you okay now..??" He asked me looking so concerned. I just nodded not trusting my voice to answer.

He just muttered an ok.....and took a sip of his coke from the same place my mouth had just been.

Did he realize what he just DID!! We freaking kissed through that cup..!!!

I just stared at him wide eyes.

"Do you want more??" He asked me when he saw me looking at him . I just shook my head and thanked him then sat back on my chair.
