Chapter 5 : I must be inlove

It was almost midnight so we decided to go to bed. I showed him his room and we were all set for bed. “Goodnight” and he flashed a smile at me. “Goodnight, and thank you.”

“Anytime.” I collapsed on my bed and all I could think about was Jack. Just the thought of him made me smile.



I woke up to the strong smell of ocean summer breeze body mist. “aaaahhh.” I took a whiff. I brushed my teeth and went downstairs in my unicorn printed pajama pants and huge pink jumper.

My hair was tied in a loose bun with my bangs hanging just above my lashes. “Morning sunshine,” Jack flashed. “Morning, how was your night?” “Oh it was good. I got a good night's rest.” “hm,I'm glad. You're a bit of an early riser.” “Yeah,” I quickly got a pan and butter and made us scrambled eggs with bacon. “Wow it's tasty!” “Really?” “Yes really, back at home I'm not allowed to have carbs.” “seriously?? That sucks” “Yeah it does.” We finished our breakfast and I loaded the dishwasher.

I told him to feel free to help himself to tv or anything else. I was on my way to the shower.

I opened the hot water and soaked myself in the bathtub only this time I was sure to be brief and not fall asleep. As soon as I was done, I blow dried my hair in the mirror and wrapped my towel around my body. I unlocked the door only to find Jack on my bed as if waiting for me! “Jack what are you doing here!!” “Helping myself and feeling free.” he said with a grin.
