Maria was much happier than her friend to hear that they were done and could enjoy the night if they wanted. It took another thirty or so minutes after Richard had said however as he and Daniel had a few other minor things they wanted to go over with them and also to make sure Maria remembered that she wasn't allowed to discuss anything they talked about outside of that room except for with Juliet.

"Are you are there isn't anything at all I need to be worried about?" Juliet pressured her friend once they were back to the main part of the club. She still wasn't convinced with how quickly her friend had agreed to everything.

"Of course I am. You should trust me more because this is one area that I do actually have more experience than you." Maria assured her friend as she patted her on the shoulder while they stood by the bar.

"I do see what you're talking about in terms of how intense and kind of rude that Richard guy is, but I think he's being genuine. Even the contract was quite straight forward."

"That's exactly what worries me though. It seems to genuine to be true." Juliet sighed.

"Oh that's just you being paranoid because of your line of work." Maria replied, brushing off her concern. "Besides, you've got training on your side as well. Even if he was deceiving you and tried something, it isn't like you couldn't handle him yourself." Juliet knew her friend had point, many good points about the situation in fact, but none of them helped her. What other option did she have though.

"Fine, I'll stop worrying about it and take the night off." She decided, wincing as her friend squealed in delight at this news.

"Let's have some fun then!" She couldn't help but smile at her friend's enthusiasm even if she wasn't that thrilled about clubs herself.

"I'll play designated driver tonight or get a tax so drink as much as you like." She assured her friend as she went over to the bar to order some drinks. She was going to pay for them but was surprised when she told that the club owner had opened up a tab for her that would be covered by the club since she would be working there. Of course, so long as she didn't abuse it by over charging.

Perks of a soon-to-be-employee already? Maybe the job wouldn't be so bad, as long as she didn't have to deal with so many people. It wasn't like Daniel had to worry about her overcharging on the tab considering she wasn't much of one to drink and except for rare occasions, she wouldn't be brining friends with her to the club.

Juliet was surprised that Maria had actually waited for her to get the drinks for them before leading her off to some booth to the side she had spotted. She claimed that it was the best place for them to rendezvous back to if they went onto the dance floor. She had 'we' but it was mostly going to be here because the other woman didn't really enjoy dancing that much. The only time she had ever done that was on the rare few occasions when she had too much to drink.

She couldn't object to the booth though because it was off to the side where she could keep an eye on everything while he friend went off to have fun after draining half her glass. Juliet wouldn't complain about it this time around if it kept her friend from bugging her about what was going on between her and Richard. She was actually surprised her friend hadn't grilled her after they had left the other's company. Maybe she finally understood what Juliet meant when she had told her they weren't compatible in the slightest.

She also didn't mind because the music the club was playing wasn't as horrible as it was earlier. Considering it was later in the night, they had probably shifted to more music they had determined was the preference to for people to dance to in this club. It was packed far more than earlier too. She could just guest that there were more people than she had thought who had free time or didn't care about going to work the next day with a hangover.

She sipped her martini as she kept an eye on her friend while scanning over the club. Technically she shouldn't have really been drinking herself since there was really no such thing as 'being off the job' in her field of work. Being at the club was part of her job. Too much to drink or any alcohol really could impact her ability to pay attention to important small details. Juliet never really worried about it though because no one had ever called her on it and working alone meant that unless something on the slim chance happened, no one would know she was drinking anyways.

She did really want to find out who the voice in the audio clip belonged to however. It was bugging her how familiar it sounded but that she couldn't place where it came from.

Juliet had already marked both Richard and Daniel marked off. She had been around them enough to feel almost certain neither one of them was the person she was looking for. There had been cases in the past where club owners were in the pot in terms of being away and condoning the selling and use of illegal drugs in their club. Daniel however didn't seem like that type of person. He actually seemed fairly straight laced and concerned about one the one club that wasn't into all that.

Richard she wasn't entirely convinced wouldn't be involved in drugs, but if he was, it felt like he would be meticulous enough to cover any and all tracks that would lead back to him being a part of drug dealings. She was curious though if he really did work as an accountant. He felt the stereotype, but she never saw him working outside of hours which she thought was pretty common for accountants because of all the work they had to catch up on.

Her attention was brought back to what was going on around her by the sound of commotion. Juliet stood up as she tried to see what was going on at the other side of the dance floor, but all she could hear was what sounded like two raised voices and a third that was using a more authoritative tone. Much of the dancing and moving around the dance floor had stopped once the commotion started and most everyone was trying to watch was going on.

"Seems like we got some type of fight going over there." She was startled by the sound of her friend's voice suddenly being near when she hadn't noticed her coming back over.

"What type of commotion?" She asked.

"Someone apparently had too much to drink and was getting handsy with a girl who wasn't interested in and didn't listen when she told him off." Maria replied, pointing in the direction.

Intrigued, Juliet decided to try and get a closer look. People had shifted enough so that she could move and see around them to what was going on. What Maria had said didn't seem far off from what she saw. Someone drunk guy was causing a loud commotion over some girl who didn't see much interested in him. There was a third person involved however and that was Walter who appeared to be trying to break up the situation without being to forceful.
