Walter

Walter wasn't a particular tall man standing at only 5'8 but he lacked in height he made up in a sturdy, solid build from years of working out and making sure to stay in shape.

Working years in security had gotten him used to keeping his black hair short and out of his face so he could always see everything on. One step up from a buzz cut was what he'd always been told.

Despite being near forty, age hadn't treated his body badly so he'd been able to keep up with doing security for so long which was one of his passions. A job that was a good mixture or predominantly boring yet thrilling on the right days.

Years of working in security had also helped him to develop sharp eyes and a calm poker face that not only intimadated people but also stopped situations from escalating as he didn't let any tension or frustration show which was great for situations like the current one he was dealing with.

The man in front of him definitely had had a few too many drinks and it was turning into the desire to get some type of attention which the woman he had targeted wasn't interested in giving him.

He was bigger than him and if he had been sober or a little better built, Walter might've had a harder time dealing with him. However, alcohol had the ability to render harmless some of the best and strongest people who were usually well put together and hard to handle.

"C'mon man, it's between me and the woman. Why don't you go back to standing over in the corner like a statue and let us work this out between us." The man slurred in barely audible English as he tried to push away Walter who was standing between him and the woman.

"While I completely understand Sir that you would like to talk with this woman, I don't think in your current state is the best time to do it. You're obviously making her uncomfortable with your behavior. I would recommend leaving for tonight and coming back tomorrow to try again." Walter held steady in his position and attempted to guide the man away from the other but he wasn't cooperating.

"I told you I don't need you butting in!" the man snapped getting agitated by the second. The crowd that was around them murmuring and making noise wasn't helping the situation much. "As an employee here, isn't her job to cater to the customers when they ask for something." He pointed at the girl as he spoke. This action made the petite girl sink further away from him.

"You're absolutely right. However, she's off clock today and only here for personal reasons not to work. Another reason why if you're interested in her you should come back tomorrow." Walter tried again, pushing back against the other man slightly as he tried to get some distance between him and the woman.

"In fact, why don't you give me your name and I can't take care of putting a note in our records so that when you come back tomorrow, you'll get top priority." This of course was a lie. He wanted to get the man's name so he could be IDed next time he came around the club and be immediately rejected the moment he tried to enter.

"But I want to do this tonight. I ain't got time to come back tomorrow. I have to work the night shift." The man growled. The more annoyed he got, the harder it was for Walter to understand what he was saying.

"Sir, if you don't leave right now, you're going to leave me with no choice but to get forceful with you and I would really rather not do that." he told the man firmly as he put his hands on the other's shoulders so that he could turn him around and guide him to the door.

The man wasn't having any of it and tried to take a swing at the security which of course missed as he was too drunk to take proper aim while his vision refused to stop swimming.

Walter took this opportunity to grab the man's arm and pin it behind his back while he wrapped his other arm across the front of the man's chest in a way that effectively pinned.

"I understand how frustrated you are, but we cannot allow this type of behavior in the club. You or someone else is going to end up getting hurt." The man was throwing a fit hissing and spitting as Walter talked to him as he was dragged to the front door of the club to be thrown out very much against his will.

Some people were still standing rather close by around as they watched was going on. Some of the more shameless spectators had pulled their phones out to snap photos or maybe even take a video.

He was thankful that he was strong and trained enough to be able to handle the man on his own. If someone else had to get involved, he was worried it'd only make the matter worse and give people the wrong impression if they saw the event being posted online.

Once he had managed to get the man outside, he stopped to ask the bouncer for help in getting the man's ID so that he could still be put on the list to be denied entry if he came around again.

The man wasn't in anymore of a better mood outside, if anything it had gotten worse with the two men pating him down in an attempt to find his ID.

Oddly they didn't find one on him and when they tried to ask for his name, flat out refused to give it to them. Walter instead took a picture of the man which could be used as a way to identify if he came around again even if they didn't know what his name was.

This disconcerting event was something he would have to let Daniel know about. Perhaps it was nothing, but a troublesome nameless man hanging around the club causing trouble might be connected to something else.

He thanked the bouncer once again for his help before heading back into the club. He also needed to make sure how the man was doing now that the man who was bothering had been dealt with.

At least he couldn't say that the night had been boring. Perhaps he'd even be allowed an extra smoke break as a reward for the hard work he had already done.
