Darah tried on all the clothes and they fit just fine. It was only then that Lyra gave her a look. She gestured her towards the lingerie section. Oh great now they'll buy me expensive innerwear for what!? This must cost more than an entire wedding shopping! Darah could never…
She felt embarrassed now that Devin was stading near. How will she freely walk over there!? Lyra softly pulled her by her wrist and looked at Devin.
"Can you please stay outside for a while? We need some time alone. " Lyra smiled and Darah nodded too, hesitantly. Devin was confused at first but then he quickly understood and gave a nod. He asked no questions and left the girls immediately.
"What size are you looking for ma'am?" The lady staff asked Lyra as she stood in front of the lingerie isle. She instead looked at Darah posing the same question.
"Uhm… 30 B… " Darah said in a low voice.
"Aw." Lyra smiled seeing her all shy. She couldn't deny how she looked so cute without even trying.
"Please wait. " The lady smiled as she went ahead to bring forth the lacy, sexy bras from the latest collection. Darah was burning red out of shame and Lyra noticed it, holding in a chuckle.
"No no… we just want the regular ones." Lyra insisted while smiling. The staff apologized and did as told. Darah was feeling awfully suffocated standing in there for too long. She missed home even if she had no one waiting for her there. The loneliness was addicting.
"So… Darah. Do you have a lot of friends? Ryu told me you wouldn't put down the phone."
"He did!? I mean, I do have friends but not so many. Just a few I trust…" Darah felt warm thinking about them.
Lyra was listening eagerly and even if there was a smile on her face, it looked like she was missing something. She clenched her hands and walked out of the store as they were done with shopping. Ryu was still inside paying the bills.
"S-So what do you do with your friends?" Lyra looked like she was talking to herself and Darah seemed even more confused. What kind of a question was that? Perhaps, was it because she didn't have any friends?
"Well… We go out shopping, like what we did just now. And grab drinks and eat food-"
"That must feel nice… " Lyra blurted out as if she was lost in another world. Darah couldn't seem to understand. Even though she looked like a strong lady, it was so easy to understand that she was equally vulnerable.
"So I guess we can say we did friendly things together today." Lyra smiled wide.
Darah smiled to herself. She really was a child at heart... A rich lady heir with thousands of friendly overprotective guards felt like she had no friends? Or was it because she had no girls as friends?
"Lyra… Have you really not been out with friends before? Even though you have all these people beside you and that guy who seems to be your boyfriend-" Darah said as she pointed at Ryu Sheng who had just walked out carrying their heavy shopping bags. His men came running to him, seeing their boss grumpily holding the bags. Boyfriend!? Lyra burst out laughing. She couldn't hold in her tears!
"Boyfriend!? Darah Chen, how clueless can you be! He's my brother! "
Oh. Darah felt like she hit an all time low with that. Of course she felt stupid. Ryu handed over the heavy bags to the guards in irritation and walked towards Lyra with a twitching brow.
"Where do you plan to stuff all those tacky looking clothes madame?" He looked coldly, coming to know that Lyra too had purchased some expensive dresses for herself but she was still not out of her laughing fit from before. Darah was smiling too but it vanished the moment he appeared.
"What?" He asked again but Lyra completely ignored his existence and dragged Darah with her as if Ryu had interrupted the couple's privacy. He was stupefied. Are they holding hands now?
When time came for Darah to be dropped home, she stiffened over her seat. Lyra passed her a positive look and held her hand tight.
"We'll see some other time. Ok?"
Darah nodded and got out of the car. Ryu Sheng too got out and passed the key to Devin. He gave a slight glance at Darah before he got into the car.
"Drop her home." He muttered and held out his palm to give a single wave to Lyra. She waved back too and the windows rolled up… Darah felt that discomfort creep back into her as Ryu Sheng walked towards his mansion. Darah followed beside, both of them accompanied by a group of guards on either side with one carrying her shopping bag.
"Look, that's the girl I was talking about!" Milly exclaimed, peeking from a curtain of the mansion's second floor. Dana felt her heart burn seeing the duo. She couldn't believe it… That girl looked so beautiful beside Master Ryu. Also, had they gone shopping? This definitely didn't look like a hostage situation.
"I can confirm they're together. Definitely." Milly sighed, leaning over the wall. Dana couldn't take her eyes off the duo. That girl didn't deserve Ryu Sheng. She was just a nobody!
"I can't let this happen!" Dana grit her teeth and unknown to her, Milly was looking at her contempt with such fear. She didn't know Dana held such deep feelings for their Young Master.
"Take her to the guesthouse. And you…" Ryu gazed coldly at Darah who wasn't even looking in his direction.
"Don't even try to pull off any stupid ideas." He ordered but it seemed like Miss Darah wasn't even listening in the first place. Ryu smirked at her carefree stance and inched closer. Now Darah was concerned. Go away!
"Did you hear me… Miss Da-rah?" He spoke, his lips breathing over her ears. She immediately stood back, clutching her hands over her chest.
"Y-Yes. Understood!"
She took a deep breath and turned away towards the guesthouse. But unknown to her, a certain someone was watching her every move with utmost jealousy.
