Third person POV

Everest was now on the deck of his tree house about to send a letter to Kate; telling them to meet up. Everest had put two fingers in his mouth and made a whistling sound. To a reply a red colored crow came.

Ever held out his hand and the bird land on his finger. He pushed the note threw the note carrier clasped on the birds back. "Go Helios, to Kate" Everest said to the bird and then it left. "That's impressive" Jude stated.

Everest looked at him and smiled "thanks, I learned how to tame messenger birds from my mom" he said. Jude just hummed and nodded. "I think we should go into town and get you some new clothes" Everest stated.

"And what's wrong with the clothes Ik wearing" Jude asked, not annoyed but not happy. "We are going to be doing a lot of walking and traveling so you should wear something comfortable and easy to move in" he explained.

Jude right now was wearing a long sleeve jacket shirt that had neon greens and purples on it. His pants were just playing black though. Jude nodded in understanding. "Ok you lead the way" Jude stated.

Everest walked to the corner of the deck and there was a long rope connecting to one of the trees going down. He grabbed onto the rope, put his fit a little lower and slid down, landing on the ground. Jude followed after.

Everest looked up and the trees towered over both of them, looking like a giant. They both started walking side by side; next to each other. "So have you been here before" Everest suddenly asked breaking the silence.

"Yes I have" Jude answer simply. "When" Everest said curiously. "When I was little, my parents used to visit often and wanted to show me" he explained. "If your parents went in between dimensions a lot why don't people know" Everest asked.

"We're royalty, it was a law to keep it a secret" Jude said. Everest nodded in understanding. He looked at Jude a little hesitant on asking but desired to ask any way. "I'm sorry if this comes off as stereotypical but I thought royals were supposed to be stuck up and rude" he questioned.

"I mean in books any way" he quickly added. Jude looked at him. He didn't seem mad just a stone face. "I don't waist my time talking bad about someone I don't know" he explained simply. "But your like, a higher level than me" Everest said back.

"I know that, it doesn't mean I have to brag about it like a spoiled brat" he said, spitting his words out harshly at the end. Everest just nodded. They reached the village soon after that conversation ended.

Everest had led them to a clothes shop near the middle of the village. As they walked in a bell rang alerting the owner. When she saw Everest she smiled. "Oh Everest dear what brings you here" the woman asked sweetly.

He walked up to the counter with Jude behind him and smiled. "Hi Ms. lard I was wondering if you had some clothes for my friend here" he said pointing to Jude. "We are kinda gonna travel for a bit so I want him to dress properly" he stated calmly.

She nodded and went to the back room for a second before coming back out. She had an outfit picked out and she placed it on the counter. "Here you go and the dressing room is over there" she said pointing to a door in the corner.

Jude had walked in and came back out a couple minutes later with his previous clothes and shoes in hand. He was wearing black tight jeans that were mid waist and a matching black top with turtleneck and a sleeve that went to the middle of his forearms.

Jude walked up to Everest still with a cold face. "Can we go now" he asked. Everest just rolled his eyes, payed the last two coins and left wig Jude following. As soon as they stepped outside his red crow came back.

Everest had the bird land on his fingers and he pulled out the slip and opened it. 'Yes you can meet me at the fountain' the letter wrote. He looked back up at Jude. "Well good news we don't have to wait to long" he said smiling.

Now they headed to meet Kate.
