Third person POV
They quickly went to put Jude's clothes back before coming back to meet up with Kate by the fountain. The fountain was right in the middle of there village, it's where they get most of there water and berries.
When they got there Kate was leaning against one of the pillars on the fountain but got up and smiled once she saw them. They walked over to her and Everest embraced her into a hug. She pulled back while Kate was staring at Jude.
"Who's this" she asked gesturing to Jude. Everest looked over at Jude mentally asking if he could tell her. Jude shook his head no. He didn't want people to know about him at all. "He's just an old friend" he decided to answer with.
Kate just nodded her head, "so why did you want to meet up" she pondered. "I was just wondering if your dad got back to you with the higher ups for me" Everest asked. She shook her head no before freezing, a smile flashing on her face.
"Actually I have something better" she said getting up and walking off to her house. She came back a couple minutes later with a white piece of paper In hand. "The higher ups sent him the coordinates to their location but he's so busy with the work he never had time to actually go" she explained.
Joy swelled into Everest, he was going to the higher sooner than he thought. "But won't your dad notice it gone" Everest inquired. She shook her head "I memorized it so I'll just write it down and place back down where it was" she explained.
Everest nodded his head and took the paper from her, shoving it into his pocket. As he looked back up to thank her the ground suddenly shook under there feet. Everest stumbled a bit, leaning on Jude for balance.
The ground shook again causing people to come out of there houses. Everest parted his feet and pivoted his instep into the ground to keep balance. The trees shook and there were buzzing sounds that were going in one ear and out the other.
The buzzing sounds were getting closer and closer until hundreds of drones came out of the trees with red lights scanning everyone in site. "Kate we need to go now!" Everest screamed as He grabbed her arm and ran the opposite direction with Jude by his side.
The whole village was in a panic as drones invaded there homes. They killing people that looked like Jude. It was like everything was happening in slow motion. Kate yelling at him with tears in her eyes to stop. Drones right in our tails, ready to kill us.
He knew at this moment my life will never be the same.
What He also didn't know if it was going to be a good thing or a bad thing.
