Scarlet's POV

“Ah"I groaned as Sabrina tucked another pin in my hair."Can't you be a bit more gentle sab",it's been almost half an hour since Sabrina is doing my hair and let me tell you it is not fun.First she curled my hair then she put it in a "effortless"messy bun,effortless my ass.

As for the makeup she kept it minimal,just some nude lipstick and a bit of eyeshadow and mascara.Thoughts were running like a windstorm in my brain and to top it all of my wolf was so fucking impatient.

Something about making this alliance seemed extremely off,I knew I had to be careful.

"SCARLET",ouch my poor ears,I turned seeing a raging Sabrina looking at me."what now drama queen"I asked as I put on my golden bracelet.

"I have been calling u forever,how do I look"I looked at my bestfriend who was chewing her nails as insecurity started building up in her."You look beautiful"her golden locks were curled to perfection.Her long blue dress was a mixture of sexy and elegant and hugged her body perfectly.

"Thanks girl,you look fucking amazing yourself",she glanced in the mirror before jolting across the room.

I opened my drawer and took out the most precious thing to me,my mothers necklace.

It was a golden chain with a heart symbol on it.The necklace didn't cost that much but to me it was more then my fucking life.Tonight I wanted her to be here with me because I had a feeling that tonight was going to be trouble.

All the pack members were standing in the line anticipating for the arrival of alpha Xerxes.I was at the stage with my brother,losing my mind.My wolf was pacing back and fourth.

"I don't like this at all"Liam my brother spoke.Liam was my twin we looked exactly alike except for the fact that he had chocolate brown eyes while I had piercing blue ones.

That is when the most amazing smell of pine trees and rain engulfed me,making my wolf go in a frenzy.The most handsome man I have ever seen descended down the stairs with my father.His body was build like a greek god,muscles buldging through his Armani suit.His brown hair were ruffled in corners almost as if he had ran his fingers through them a million times.

His eyes were a deep earthy brown glistening like an old copper penny being examined in the warmth next to a powerful flames that were licking the safety glass door of an old fire place.they held secrets,the same way a pot holds lairs of deep soil cradling because it's essential to keep the plant safe.

The roots are held in place the same way his dark,liquidy eyes held so tightly onto his secrets.They were inviting me,begging me to uncover all the secrets hidden,locked away,and the most scary thing was I was willing to uncover them.His eyes were luring me into his trap and for the first time in life I didn't mind.

That's when one single word broke my trance

"Mate"my wolf howled in joy

"Please give a warm welcome to alpha Xerxes"

My wolf was estatic as he locked his eyes with mine and before thinking twice I jolted towards the bar.

For two hours straight I have been drinking my problems away was it working no,not really.Sabrina was flirting with someone while my brother was meeting alpha Xerxes pack members.Apparently the alpha was going to stay here for an year.

Yes it was an alliance between the two most strongest pack but still 1 year was too long and the fact the alpha Xerxes said that staying this long was no problem made my senses heightened.

I turned on my heels only to be locked in his brown eyes ones again.The pack members around us were dancing,drinking and chatting.

His eyes were locked with mine not breaking our eye contact, I walked away to the dance floor,I smirked as I felt his heated gaze over my body.The smell of alcohol and sweat got more vivid as I made my way in the centre.

Lights flickered over us as Cheap Thrills played on the speakers.

Come on,come on ,turn the radio on it's Friday night and I won't be long. Gotta do my hair,I put my makeup on it's Friday night and I won't be long.

I started to seductively sway my hips to the sound,enjoying the rhythm of the music.Thats when two rough hands made there way on my butt and I knew exactly who it was.

I was aimlessly walking in the garden,the only thing that kept my thoughts at sanity was the rain.I have always loved the rain it was something that stopped my thoughts from buzzing and calmed me.Rain for me was cleansing,something that cleans each dark and dirty secret of mine and washes it away forever.

I stood there my gaze burning into the horizon ,staring at the beauty of the upcoming storm and crying clouds.

Yes I can control the weather,it depends on emotions and right now they are all over the fucking place.

My dress was all wet and hugged my skin like a glove showing of all of my curves.

The smell of pine and rainfall got more vivid....he was here.

Before I could even react he crashed his lips onto mine.His hold on my waist was tight almost as if he was afraid that I would go.Shocks of electricity coursed throughout my body and eventually I gave in.

His tongue grazed my bottom,wanting access.What was he doing,moreover what the fuck am I doing.

He harshly bit my lower lip and plunged his tongue in my mouth.It was filled with lust and passion.His rough hands caressed my curves making me let out an involuntary moan.

Finally he separated our lips making me regain my breath,without a single word he turned around and went inside the pack house.

Leaving me all hot,bothered and fucking confused.
