Scarlets pov:

The weather here was more complicated then me,one minute it was all sunshine and rainbows while the next second it was dark and windy,threatening to bring down a powerful storm.

I focused on my target ,my eyes carefully watching his every move.His black hairs covered his sinister eyes while whores surrounded him.I studied his each and every move the minute he sat down I regained my composure.

"Carl Ray,35 years old one of the top politicians,he owes us around 7.5 million dollars".

Caden continued reading a document,"He's into sex trafficking and has quiet a few connections with the underworld".

A playful smirk made its way on my lips,as I settled for a head shot and in one quick motion I pulled the trigger.

Within a second his lifeless body fell to the ground with a thud while everyone around him stood shocked.

I packed my rifle and slowly walked away like nothing happened.

"Well done"Caden whispered as he took drags of his cigarettes,according to my estimation it will take the police approximately 2 minutes to get here meaning we had to leave now.

The engine of the car roared while I practically drove like a maniac.My focus was on the road while I was continuously dodging cars.

My mind was preoccupied,Thoughts took my head by storm.

Why did he agree for an alliance?

Why do our packs hate eachother?

Why did the moon goddess pair us up?

Does he even want a mate?...I don't !

What's the history behind our packs?

Were my thoughts visible they would be a inverse explosion, crazy chaotic turns and twists of light all coming together to just one idea, to just one word. He was my mate!My other half and I knew he was trouble yet I was attracted to him like a magnet and a part of me knew this would be my downfall.

"I deleted all the footage ,also slow down we have made it to the pack border"

I was so engrossed in my thoughts that I didn't even listen to a word Caden spoke.

"Mmmm,faster"

Who the hell was that,usually I don't really give a shit about who's fucking who but something seemed off also my wolf was quite restless.Caden made his way to the safe house while my curiosity took the best of me.

The weather was indecisive flirting with the ideas of cold and warmth

Freezing fog or just a touch of light mist.

The scene unfolded infront of my eyes,Hurt washed over my face before I put a numb expression,my wolf howled in pain yet I was used to it,used to the hurt.

Xerxes was kissing a she wolf who was half naked,His hands were intertwined in her hairs while her disgusting moans were making me lose control.My wolf was begging me to let her take control,but I knew if I did it would be a blood bath.If I killed her this alliance would go down the drain and then there would be war.

I steadied my breath and made my way back to the safe house,well atleast now I know what or who he wants.

I stepped into the shower, toes flinching as they touched the chilled ceramic floor. My mind was in shreds,I could never get that picture out of my mind.

Footsteps snapped me back to reality as I felt someone's heated gaze over me.

My nipples instantly hardened

"Missed me or what"His hearty chuckle made me lightly smile as he made his way to the shower,deliberately walking slow cause he knows how impatient I get.

I continued washing my hair acting oblivious to his intentions.

His hands made there way around my stomach as he hugged me.,warmth flooding in my body.

Caleb is my bestfriend I have known him for 5 years which was when he made an alliance with our pack,he helped me a lot and I owe him big time.I slept with him when I was 17 and we have been friends with benefits ever since.He never found his mate and he never wanted to.

His hands roamed across my chest while he rubbed them in circular motions,this was wrong but he didn't want me and me and xerxes and I could'nt happen. “ no actúes tan inocente amor”(don’t act so innocent my love)

He crashed his lips on mine,what started as an innocent peck, turns into an instant hunger. His arms grip around me tighter,as he pressed me against the wall. My arms made there way around his neck as our lips melt into one . I gently suck on his bottom lip and a moan escapes from deep in his throat.

I can feel him harden as he presses me harder against the wall.The kiss got more intense as his tongue stretched out mine.

The steam was blurring our naked bodies in the mirror. But I could still see him standing in front of me, bare chested.I was about to wrap my legs around his torso when my phone started ringing.

"I need to take this"My breath was heavy and my lips were swollen.

I wrapped the towel around my waist and picked up my phone.

Authors POV:

"I'll be there"Scarlet emotionlessly spoke before throwing on a pair of jeans .She curled her hair to perfection as she continued bitting her lips,a nervous habit of hers.She could hear the shower running meaning Caleb was still showering.

A letter was waiting for her as she sauntered towards the desk as she ripped the seal and examined the letter.Uncertain emotions passed through her face she quickly got her checkbook and made her way towards the bank.

Scarlets POV:

Where the hell are the pack members,the halls were completely empty the only sound that could be heard was of the leaves gently falling on the ground,in a continuous rhythm.

Well I guess I'll go to the training room.

His stance was perfect his eyes fixated on the opponent.with one quick blow he fell on his head indicating that he had won,applauds followed by.

He was the best fighter in his pack,undefeated strong and most of all smart.He knew his opponent's insecurities.He didn't fight with rage he fought with knowledge.

His pack members roared with joy as he defeated the best warrior in our pack a slick grin covered his face while he removed the blood on his lips with the pad of his thumb.

"Admit it he's the best fighter"the she wolf that was kissing him earlier in the morning continued raving about him.

There was no doubt he was a good fighter but the best...... I don't think so!

"Is there anyone who has the courage to challenge him"her irritating voice was irking me.

After he defeated our best warrior no one stood up to fight against him not even Liam.

But I love a good challenge.

"I'll"all eyes were on me, deadly silence followed by.

Soon enough pack members started cheering while some gave me appalled looks .

I made way towards him while he gave me an intense look that I couldn't quite grasp.His eyes bore into mine while I kept my face numb.A devious smirk covered his face making me queasy.

"On the count of 3 we will start!"
