Chapter 9

`I need to get out of here.

Jin was sick and tired of being in Chynna's captivity. It was a huge slap in the face for The Mafia Boss, a woman kidnapped and trap the most feared men in The State. An ordinary woman could keep him looked up for weeks.

Jin closed his eyes. He needed to think of an escape plan, but her voice was stuck in his head. The way she held the knife to his neck, the way her eyes glowed when she spoke.

'Out there you are The Mafia Boss but in here I'm the one and only Boss. You are a puppet in my hands.'

Her words were stuck in his head and they didn't plan to leave soon and the worst part was that she was awful too smart for his liking. The initial plan he had was to trap her, make her fall in love with then destroy her but she isn't buying it.

`Where in the world is she even?

Three days have passed by and Chynna didn't come to check up on him at all and he wanted to know the reason. Did she decide to stop coming because of his plan or is she feeling anything for him and has stayed away just to hide it?

`You know that's not possible at all.

Jin couldn't deny the attraction. It was so clear. She had the eyes of a warrior, and she looked like she was ready to climb any mountain just for her brother. What kind of love did she have for the boy? People don't risk their lives just to secure a dumb University admission.

`Well, Chynna does.

Being a Mafia Boss he has definitely seen different type of women and each of them has always fallen head over heels for him. They have always been very easy to get whatever he wanted from them, be it sex, information or anything else, but with Chynna she wasn't budging and it was so annoying.

"It seems like someone's in deep thoughts." someone said. Jin looked up to see her, the woman who has been on his mind for a while. Her black hair was let loose and her eyes were shining.

"I was, but not anymore." he raised a brow. "I was wondering why my kidnapper hasn't come to see me."

"I was busy," she muttered.

Chynna held her breath. She didn't come here because she was trying to be cautious. She was sure Jun will monitor her for a while, so she needed to be extra cautious about her next step.

Jin smirked. "Busy with what?"

"I don't think you deserve to know." Chynna rolled her eyes.

"You are quite right," Jin said. "I love the way you let your hair go, it makes you look more beautiful."

Chynna felt her checks hit up a bit. She did not know what this man was up to. Why in the world would he be using sweet words to talk to her? "Seriously, Jin, what are you up to?"

"Nothing." he shrugged his shoulders. "I'm being honest darling."

"Jin, I know you don't enjoy staying here, so why don't you just do what I want?" Chynna asked, but Jin only shrugged his shoulders again.

"Sweetheart," Chynna smirked. "I don't take orders from women. You people are supposed to serve men, not give orders so I won't do as you say."

"This is your biggest problem," Chynna yelled. "You are the reason people in the world disrespect women. What in the world do you think about yourself?"

Jin was quiet. He didn't know how to respond to her.

"Rich men like you misbehave with women and use your influence to seek revenge. Women are nothing but pleasure tools to your eyes, and you think we need you in our lives to survive. You are so damm stubborn and awfully way too full of yourself." Chynna continued to express her feelings while Jin said nothing.

"Chynna." Jin spoke after a while.

"I don't want to hear a word," Chynna said. "Goodbye."

~Who does he think he is? Why is he so disgusting to the core?

She was sick and tired of all these disgusting men. Jin was the worst of them all. He is a bad person, but she was the worst.

~I won't let him go unless he gives my brother what is rightly his.

"Hey, Chynna."

Chynna turned around to see Delun holding two cups of coffees. "Hey, Delun."

"How are you doing? It has been a while?" he smiled before sitting next to her.

"I'm alright." Chynna faked a smile. The last thing she wanted to do was start a discussion with anyone.

"Are you thirsty for some coffee?" he asked.

"Not really." Chynna sighed. "I don't feel like having one."

"That's bad because I got this especially for you." Delun muttered.

"Thanks but no thanks." she smiled.

"Are you free tonight?" Delun inquired.

Chynna raised a brow. "I can't say."

"I would love to go on a date with you." Delun said. "That's if you are free."

"Delun a date?" Chynna repeated.

"Yeah." Delun said. "Chynna I like you a lot."

"Delun." she started.

"Please don't say no." Delun pleaded. "A little try to come with me."

~A date won't hurt Chynna. Just go.

"Okay, I will go." she smiled.

"Thanks." Delun said. "I will come pick you up."

"No, just text the address and I will be there." Chynna said.

"Are you sure?" he asked.

"A hundred."

"Okay see there." Delun smiled before kissing her hand.

~This date might take my mind away from things.
