Aunt Jenn was nagging because I did not inform her that I was coming to the hospital. "Why didn't you tell me you were coming to the hospital. I could've come as soon as possible," she retorted.
"Well, mom said you had some business to deal with, and I don't want to disturb you. That's why I didn't call," I muttered.
She shook her head. "You could at least texted me,"
I just ignore her. "I'm glad you're okay. Nothing serious to your injury. I'll let you rest now, see you later Aunt Jenn," I muttered and stood up from where I was sitting down. I bent down to kiss her on the forehead and head towards the elevator. She waved me goodbye as I entered the elevator.
When I arrived on the fifth floor, I head to my mom's room and open the door quietly. It's still early so I don't want to wake her up.
I gather my things, kissed her forehead, and left her a note saying "Dear Mom, I will be back later afternoon. If you need anything, don't hesitate to contact me as soon as possible. Love, Ry,"

INT. Rylee's Apartment
I arrived at my apartment just before 6 am. I am so tired and I wanted to sleep so bad but I can't because nobody is looking after mom and Aunt Jenny at the hospital. I sighed.
The first thing I did after arriving was I took a long hot shower. After I felt refreshed, I head toward the kitchen and try to find something to eat. I opened the fridge to see if there were any leftovers for me to consume. To my disappointment, my fridge was almost empty. Only a couple of opened beers left. "Hmm...instant noodles for breakfast again. Yummy!" I mumbled lowly.
I cooked 2 packets of instant noodles to fill my hungry stomach. Then I grabbed a beer from the fridge. I gulped without stopping. I love how the burning sensation of the alcoholic beverage felt on my throat. "I need to restock! Or maybe I can just go to the Special Bar to get wasted." I chuckled.
I look at the time and it is half-past eight. I set my alarm for 30 minutes and took a nap.
~ Alarm sound beeping ~
"OH MY GOD! SHUT UP!," I screamed and covered my ears with my pillow. The beeping sound was getting louder and it seems that it won't end any time soon.
Frustrated, I tried to reach for the phone. "Who the heck is calling me this early," I muttered angrily. When I finally had it in my hand, with one eye open, I look at the screen. It says, "Wake Up Sleepyhead! Time to go to the hospital!"
I squinted my eyes. "Oh shit. I completely forgot about it!" I declared and quickly sit upon the bed. It was a bad idea to get up that fast because now my head felt slightly whirling and my visions were veering around.
After I gain my normal vision again, I stood up from the bed and get dressed. I wore a plain mustard color crop top and black high-waisted jeans with a pair of white Nike Jordans as my outfit for today. Even though I have no one to impress with my outfit, I still felt cute in it.
I packed a few clothes to bring with me. I might stay at the hospital for a few days till Aunt Jenn is discharged. Since I am not writing novels any time soon, I have a lot of free time to spend with them at the hospital.
I head toward the exit and grabbed my car keys and purse from the drawer. Locked the door, double-checked it, and then I take my leave.
While waiting for the elevator to arrive, I sang my favorite song. "I think that I should probably tell you this, in case there is an accident and I never see you again. So please save all your questions for the end. And maybe I'll be brave enough by then," then I hum the rest of the song by Lizzy McAlpine, Pancakes For Dinner. I lived on the third floor and taking the elevator was convenient for me. I am not a fan of stairs.
I arrived at the basement where my car was parked. I unlock it and insert the key into the ignition. I checked on the time and it's almost ten. "Wow, would you look at the time? I must have taken quite some time to get ready," I muttered and chuckled.
I stop by a few times to get some food for lunch and then continue my journey to the hospital. It sounded like I am going somewhere far, whereas I am only going to the hospital.
When I finally arrived at the hospital, I went to visit Aunt Jenny first since she's in the ER.
I look around for her but she's not there anymore. I freaked out. I pulled out my phone from my purse and dialed her number. After it rings for a few seconds, Aunt Jenny picked up the phone. "Aunt Jenn, where are you? Why aren't you at the ER? Did you went home already?" My voice sounded worried. A lot of questions came up.
She laughed at all of my questions. "Chill Rylee. I'm with Megan right now. Have you arrived at the hospital?"
I rolled my eyes. "Well, duh? If I am still at home, I won't be asking you these questions," I retorted. "I'll be there in a jiffy."
Without wasting any more time, I rushed to the fifth floor where mom and Aunt Jenny were gathered.
"Hey, I brought you guys some food. I hope you like sushi," I muttered as I slide the door open.
"FUCK. MY. LIFE!" I was astonished. Daisy and Lucas were there with them. My blood boiled just by seeing their backstabbing faces.
"What the hell are you guys doing here? Haven't I already mentioned it before? You guys are not fucking welcome here. Get lost," I snapped at them. They were both calmed by my sudden appearance. I guess they have expected me to be there.
"H-Hey, Rylee," Lucas was stuttering.
"Get my name outta your mouth," I growled at him and gave Daisy a sharp glance. If only looks can kill, they are dead by now.
"Look Rylee, we're s-sorry. Let's talk," Daisy mumbled lowly. She let out a sigh.
"Well, are you? I don't think I have anything to say to both of you. Please leave," I retorted as I pointed at the door.
"Babe, please," Lucas was walking towards me but I stepped back before he could reach me. "Don't call me with that disgusting word. And don't you dare touch me with your filthy hand. Once again, please LEAVE or I will," I intensify on the word 'leave'.
The room fell awkwardly silent for a moment. Nobody was making any move. "Guess I'll be taking my leave first. I'll call you later mom,"
I dropped the food on the table and left the room as fast as I can without turning back. The tears I've been holding have finally fallen. Many eyes were peeping at me as I ran towards the elevator but I don't care anymore. I just need to get the hell out from here.
I fled to my car and sits inside, screaming. "I HATE YOU!" I kept on repeating the phrases several times before I finally left the parking lot.
I need to get away where nobody can find me and the first place I thought of was the bar. The Special Bar. I need to go there, to ease my mind. I need to intoxicate myself so it won't hurt this bad. The pain was suffocating me. It needs to stop. Just fucking stop it!
