Chapter 6

Mark got off the plane along with Diane, after all. He could just smell that New York air. They waited outside the airport for a driver to come pick them up and take them to their "for now" apartment. You'd wonder what Diane was doing or why she was tagging along on Mark's mission, well it wasn't his fault, he didn't want this to happen.  Mark tried this best but Diane wouldn't budge. "Just take me along,I won't bother you in anyway," okay Mark was not taking her with him to NY. " And also," she continued. "it'll be a good opportunity to find myself a good job and you won't have to bear me anymore." Well the thought of Diane finding her own place and leaving him alone did sound tempting so he decided to take her along.

The driver arrived and they got into the car and left. "Isn't this great?!" Diane sounded excited. "Seriously?" Mark sounded bored. Throughout the whole drive Mark was on his phone while Diane listened to music through her headphones.

After a while they reached their new apartment building. They entered and got the keys to their apartment. "I'll get the biggest room, thank you'" said Diane stepping forward. "Nah, you don't ," Mark said pulling her by the cap of their CALU hoodie. "It's my mission, my apartment and I get the biggest room." Diane rolled her eyes. "Ugh, whatever!"

Mark was busy with some documents he needed to go undercover as an employee at Grey Industries when Diane came and sat on his desk in font of him. "Sooo, what's for dinner," she asked "I'm starving like crazy." she continued, rubbing her stomach. "Diane, you're always hungry," Mark teased. "I've ordered us a pizza." He got up from his desk and walked towards the book shelf. "It should be here any minute now," he continued. "Wait, you ordered pizza?" Diane asked. "Yeah I did and it's about to arrive any time soon."

"I thought cops didn't eat pizza, it could ruining your abs and your biceps," she laughed. "Should I cancel the order, we do have frozen fish sticks in the fridge."

"No,no, I was just joking. Don't cancel the order out of anger, it's cool to have pizza especially if you're a cop," she laughed.

DingDong  the doorbell rang. "Pizza's here!"
