037 Depths Of Depravity

BUZZZZZZZZ

The final ringing of the teleportation portal had died down. Over the course of the last hour several of Quinn's soldiers had passed through and onto the third floor. In this heated wasteland, her armies spanned the entire view. Consuming everything in sight and only allowing for their presence to be manifested.

15,000 soldiers had assembled at the order of The Third King, Quinn The Magical Zenith. It was more than originally ordered. However, after what happened on the second floor, she had changed her mind and wanted to end this and end it quick.

Truthfully, the real reason for this overkill was simply fear. Fear of her former pupil. There was no one in Luna that could hope to rival her but, there was one who could definitely hurt her. Possibly even kill her.

When it came to magical aptitude, Quinn was so versed in it that she could easily use it to bridge the strength gap between her and Xavier. She had no worries with that battle. What shook her to her very core was Em.

He was the only person standing between her and complete control of Luna. The ungrateful idiot. At one point in her life she made the mistake of teaching him the true secrets of Magic and mana. Instead of worshiping her he simply used her to gain strength and keep climbing the floors.

With his stupid dream of finally being free of Luna and giving up all the power he had accumulated.

Even if she deeply hated him, fear still terrorized her heart. She knew the magical prowess that Em once possessed. Truly it was formidable.

Based off of the several reports she received from the scouts who had visited the second floor. The devastation left behind was indescribable.

Had he somehow gotten stronger? Could his death have been another method of exemplifying his strength?

Quinn had underestimated him earlier but this time, she was willing to throw everything at him for the sake of her plan.

He needed to die. Permanently. Then finally the final step towards complete control could be taken.

With the last flicker of life left in the portal, a lone figure stepped through and into the third floor. The head of this massive army. Nniuq. The spitting image of Quinn herself but with something more, something darker residing deep within.

The soldiers parted ways to either side as Nniuq walked through. She stood tall. With a regal authority that could not be rivaled or matched.

Every man and woman within the army wanted her for themselves. She was alluring, enticing, provocative. In short she was everything that Quinn lacked. Nniuq made up for Quinn's shortcomings in spades. However she was made only for Quinn. To take her in any capacity she desired. Thus her loyalty to her.

Step by step she continued forward. Both Enticing her subordinates and commanding unparalleled devotion.

Finally after making her way to the very front of the army, she uttered a single statement.

Even though her voice was just above a whisper, it echoed deep within the hearts of all the soldiers here.

"Find him and bring him here...broken."

At her command the soldiers on either side of her roared in excitement. They were finally going up against prey worthy enough to be considered a threat. Eagerly they ran in all directions. The third floor's desert was a massive expanse of heated hell, and they made sure to scour every inch of it.

Nniuq simply headed over to the blessed shade of the lone palm tree next to the oasis. She didn't arrive close to it when she teleported to the floor. This meant the walk was going to be a while.

Traversing in this heat, she found herself drenched in sweat within minutes. Still Nniuq did not allow this to bother her. She had thoughts of victory going through her mind to offset the cruelty of the current environment. She reveled in the soon to received pleasure that only Quinn could give her, for a job well done.

With these thoughts flowing through her, she found herself at her destination in no time.

Nniuq arrived and immediately took off her clothes. Throwing herself into the surprisingly deep oasis, She began to soak in the cool refreshing water. As she splashed about, a song came to her. Bringing her joy and cooling her up from the inside.

Soon as she vocalized the intonation, it reverberated throughout the desert as she graced everyone with her entrancing melodies.

Fall...Fall, Fall for me

Despair and agony

Surround my prey in your bliss

But allow them to resist

The call of death below

And allow for my overflow...

Of hate...

After finally cooling off, Nniuq left the weightlessness of the deep oasis. She had been there for hours, as the sun had finally begun to fall behind the horizon.

As she finished putting her clothes back on her body, Nniuq leaned against the lone palm tree. It's body thick and the leaves wide to provide shade and respite from the harsh sun.

The only source of salvation here.

She could see several different units tearing apart every inch of the desert. Blasting through dunes with magical spells or simply shattering the grains below with brute force and aura. Every single pawn was doing their part in this game.

It's only a matter of time now. Em you can't hide forever here.

With that last thought, the fading whispers of light fell silent to the night. No sooner had that happened, the sand below began to tremble and begin to collapse on itself.

Equipped with Quinn's knowledge, Nniuq knew exactly what was going to happen. She was eager for these monsters to convene to her. To attempt to ravage her all night long.

With a tone full of glee and malice. She yelled out to the coming waves of monsters pulling themselves up from the sand.

"Come children! Show me some fun until that traitor is found!"

At her words, it began.

Thinking it was hidden, a massive black and red centipede lurched forward from the surface, straight at Nniuq's back. She briskly countered with a basic Mana strike. Having enveloped her hand completely in mana, she mercilessly removed its head.

It's body continued to squirm around long after it lost life. Rolling around in a disgusting mix of it's green essence and sand. Nniuq simply licked her lips at its death scene.

Turning away from the dead creature and onto the hundreds of monsters ahead, Nniuq smiled.

"Let's see how long you can last against me!"
