Chapter 4

You ask him, "Did you go to (name of elementary school)?" "I did for kindergarten, but I moved during 1st grade. Why'd you ask?" Suddenly the memories of both of you as kids came to your head. "Don't you remember me?" you ask with a big smile. He takes a second whispering your name over and over again. Then he looks up with a smile and says, "y/n? As in y/n from kindergarten?" "Yeah" you say.

His eyes start to glow and you can see how happy he is. You smile at him and he hugs you. "Omg. I never though I would see you again. You left me in first grade." he says with a frown. "Im sorry. I didn't even know we were moving, so I didn't get to say bye to you." you reply. He says, "Well at least I know your alive now." You look at the time and realize you need to head home.

You give him a goodbye hug and say, "Im sorry I have to go. But i'll see you tomorrow Kageyama." You smile and run off. He goes in the opposite direction with his face beaming. You get home after a short walk and run up to your room. You get changed and go downstairs to see your mom waiting at the table with an angry expression.

"Im sorry i'm late." you say with a frown. Your mom asks, "Why were you late?" "I made a friend and we talked too long." "YOU MADE A FRIEND?" she asks. "Yeah, a couple." you reply. She gets up and starts dancing. You burst out laughing at her and your sister comes downstairs.

"Ya'll are weird" she says in a grumpy tone. Your mom stops dancing and sits back down. "So tell me their names." "Well there's Yachi, a girl, she's really smart. And theres a boy named Yamaguchi who's really sweet. I have this other friend but she's not really my friend, her name is Fumiko. Then I have another friend, and actually, turns out I knew him in kindergarten."

Your moms eyes widen, "Kageyama?" "Yeah actually. I didn't know who he was at first, at the end of the day we realized who the other was." you say. Your mom says, "I know you know better than to mess with boys y/n." "We're just friends." you reply with a giggle. She stares at you, then gets up to go to the kitchen. You get up and go to your room.

Your first day went pretty well. Thinking about Kageyama made you happy. But you needed to take your head out of that and focus on your homework. Yes the pile of homework you got on the first day. You stayed up late finishing your work and planning for tomorrow. You went to sleep smiling while thinking of Kageyama.
