Justice and Kidnaps

"A loving heart is the truest wisdom." -Charles Dickens

It's been 2 days since the restaurant incident happened and I always kept an eye on Liya though she won't talk to me. She's pretty stubborn when she wants to and it's hard to break that, so I let her be. I've not seen the guy's gang around the school premises and I was kinda relieved about that, Jimin was also helping me with the lookout.

I was standing on the bus thinking about all this when I heard a couple of college girls gasping loudly. I glanced at them and saw that they're looking something on phone. International news channel? Wait! I was about to roll my eyes at them but a certain 'South Korea' and 'BTS' caught my eyes. I decided to tap on one of their shoulders. A girl with a sharply defined nose turned around.

"Is that news about k pop?" I asked carefully.

"Yeah," she nodded catching her friends' attention too, "Are you a k pop stan?"

I nodded my head, "What's it about BTS?"

"Oh, it's breaking news. You do know about BTS Jimin's car accident right?" I nodded eagerly, showing interest, "That was not an accident, it was an attempted murder. The police found a woman who was behind the threats and this accident of many k pop idols including Jimin," my stomach did a flip.

"Woah!" I acted surprised, "How did they find out?"

"That's the interesting part," another girl commented, "They said they got an anonymous email with all these details. The reports are that it was sent by an ARMY. The police and authorities say that they're thankful for whoever sent the shreds of evidence for helping them." I sighed in relief and squealed internally.

"It was cool, right?" another girl giggled, "They even posted the screenshots of the email. Whoever did that was exceptionally brilliant. Jimin should be happy to have such a great fan"

Well, thank you. I'm his soulmate by the way, not a fan.

"It's sad though, he had not woken up yet" a girl sighed sadly.

Right when I got off the bus. I looked around the place and spotted him standing under a tree smiling to himself. I ran up to him, grabbed his hand, and ran home without giving him any explanation.

I pushed open the door and rushed towards my laptop. I immediately opened it and typed away to search for the latest news and of course, it was the most trending one. The whole world was shaken by the news. I searched for the particular news and saw what I wanted.

"Mia, what-"

"Ssh" I shushed him swiftly.

Got it!

Park Jimin's case finally solved

I pushed a protesting Jimin to sit on my chair and urged him to read it. He looked at me confused then turned towards the screen, his eyes widening in shock plus surprise. He looked back at me who had a nasty smile on and was pretending to pick my nails.

"Mia-Woah!" his smile widened as he read forward.

He finally jumped up to hug me, "Mia, you did it!" he squealed like a teenage girl.

"We did it!" I corrected him, "You helped me too"

"Wah! I can't believe it" he broke from the hug with a wide smile, "They believed us. Wow!" he looked at me with awe, "You should seriously become a detective, Mia. That was AWESOME!" he jumped in the air.

I chuckled at his reaction.

"Mia! Seriously!!" he grabbed both my shoulders looking into my eyes, "You really should take criminology and become an FBI agent or something. I don't mind though. I would like for my future wife to be a detective in the future" he smirked.

"Aish, Jimin!" I slapped his chest playfully.

"MIA?!!" I heard my mom yell.

I flinched and looked at Jimin who had a confused expression just like me.

I rushed downstairs to see my mom violently tapping on her phone and calling someone but judging by her cursing under her breath she is not reaching there. Diya stood beside her biting her nails and on the verge of tears.

"Mom, what happened? Whom're you trying to call?" I asked reaching them.

"Oh Mia," she practically launched at me, "Did you see Liya? She not home yet, it's almost 7. She always comes home before 6. I'm trying to contact her but it says it's switched off," she said frantically shoving her hands in the air.

My breath hitched at that.

Not good! There...there comes that gut feeling again.

I turned to Jimin and he had that concerned look on his face. He understood the situation and was looking at my mom and sister.

"Mom, it's alright," I tried to reason but I know exactly who might be behind this, I'm not dumb, "Try contacting her again, her phone's battery might've run off and Diya try calling her friends, you have some of their numbers right?" Diya nodded and pulled out her phone.

I need to stay calm, stay calm. Liya's gonna be alright. I closed my eyes and repeated myself. A hand caught my shoulder and I opened my eyes to see Jimin standing before me.

"She's fine," he whispered but I knew the truth.

I nodded nevertheless.

I need to support my mom and Diya now. I should be strong!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A day passed still no sign of Liya. My suspicions were high key kicking in when we complained to the police but I kept quiet. I knew better about our law system. They have many complains and cases to take care of and they'll take this lightly for sure. I can't wait for them to one day come and inform us that my sister is officially gone. Nope! I don't. Even if I tell them about my suspicions the odds of them taking it seriously are slim. I can't risk the life of my sister, so I decided to take it into my own hands.

I paced in my room trying to find a way to reach them and also to confirm my suspicions that they're really the ones who practically kidnapped my sister. But I need to go outside to do anything at all, that I can't because my mom is extra protective now.

Jimin just watched as I paced back and forth murmuring under my breath silently.

I searched for any way for me to track her down. Her mobile phone is switched off so no tracking there. There might be something-

My phone suddenly rang stopping me from my actions.

It was Haneen.

I thought twice whether to take it or not but decided to anyway.

"Oh Mia! Finally, I didn't see you at school" he lowkey shouted.

"Sorry, my mom picked me up. Why did you call?"

"I heard about your sister and I think I know who did that"

"I know who did that. I'm sure of it"

"Really? Well, it's true. I saw that happening"

"You did?!" I shouted.

"Yeah, I didn't know it was Liya though. I only saw them taking her in a car"

"Why didn't you tell me before?" I said now frustrated and worried.

"I tried to, but I didn't see you anywhere at school"

I cursed under my breath.

"Mia? What're you going to do? I'm ready to tell this to police if you want"

"I don't think so, Haneen. Do you think they'll believe you? You don't have any evidence to that" I started pacing again now ten times worried.

"That's kinda true, but what can we do? Maybe we can but only if we can track her location or something"

"Yeah, I thought that too" I sat down beside Jimin who took my hand and drew circles on them comfortingly. I sighed at the contact and gave him a small smile.

"Aah, aren't you a computer science student? Why didn't you give her a tracker necklace or something? Things might have been easy then"

"How can I-" hold on a second.

I got it!

Why hadn't I thought about it before?!

Liya's wristwatch! It has a tracker!

"Haneen? You're a genius" I fist-bumped with the air jumping off the bed.

Jimin gave me a weirded-out look.

"Huh?"

"Haneen, Liya has a wristwatch which has a tracker in it. I think I can track her" I said joyfully.

"Cool! Go find it, girl."

"Okay, stay on the line," I said and dashed outside towards her room to find the watch's pack to find the instructions.

Luckily she didn't throw it away. Thank God!

I grabbed the paper with the code and instructions and, rushed into my room.

I did as told in the instructions and typed the code into my phone. I waited for a moment as I whispered what's happening to Jimin silently, who nodded encouragingly. Hannen was on line listening to what I was doing.

Suddenly a red beep formed on the map.

I squinted my eyes and made out the place. It's near the outskirts of the town. I recited the address to Haneen who immediately recognized it saying that his mom's house is near that place.

"You sure you know this place?" I asked confirming glancing at the idle red dot.

"Of course. So, what's the plan?" he asked.

"I thought it was obvious? You bring me there" I said shrugging.

"Cool! Let's go!" I heard his excited voice from the other side.

"Really? Are you not going to say it's dangerous and all?" I chuckled.

"Why? It's thrilling!"

"Okay okay, you have got a bike, don't you? Can you pick me up at my house?"

"Of course, text me the address. I'll be there, partner"

"Okay"

I ended the call and texted him the address.

"Do you really have to go?" Jimin asked taking my hands.

"I have to, Chim," I sighed gripping onto his soft hands, "Besides you'll be coming too right?"

"No doubt about that. There is no way I'm leaving you alone" he said sternly.

"Thank you," I smiled as he tucked a strand of hair behind my ear, "I thought I'd have to convince you a lot"

"I understood what you were going to do way before," he said kissing on my knuckles making me somehow blush, "I know you and your way of thinking." suddenly his expression turned dark, "You do realize that you're gonna play with fire, right? It is very dangerous."

"I know," I loosened my grip and walked over to change, "I've to do this for my sister. I can't let them harm her" I said as I pulled on a black hoodie over my T-shirt and changed into a black jeggin'.

"I won't stop you. But I want you to be careful," he turned me around after I finished braiding my hair. He held my gaze and caressed my cheek with his thumb, "I don't want you to be hurt" he whispered before capturing my lips in his.

I closed my eyes and sighed into the kiss. It was passionate and comforting almost like he is trying to encourage me to stay strong. His kisses always conveyed what he wanted to say to me. He held me tight against him not letting any space between us. It was pure bliss which I never wanted to leave even for years.

I pulled apart panting, "I won't" I whispered against his lips.

His hooded eyes caught mine and he leaned in to kiss again but the ringtone of my phone stopped him abruptly.

I smiled apologetically at him. "We can continue when we get back," I winked.

He nodded with a smirk and pulled my hood over my head as I pocketed my phone which signaled Haneen was outside. I tiptoed out of my room with Jimin trailing behind me. We carefully passed the stairs and headed to the main door. My eyes caught a shining paper knife which I took and buried in my socks without Jimin noticing. I know he'll freak out. Just in case.

I slowly opened the door and closed it behind me. We walked over to the compound wall which I easily jumped on prior to the last experience. Haneen stood near a cool red bike which I recognized easily while I walked over to him.

"W-Woah! W-Who are y-you?" Haneen stuttered and backed away seeing my form in the dark.

"It's me, don't overreact," I said.

"Oh, Mia, you scared me" he clutched his chest "You look like a serial killer"

"And you look like a ghost rider" I eyed his black leather jacket and gloves.

"Really? I opted for that style" he stood like a starfish.

"Yeah, yeah, can we go?" I asked taking out my phone opening to see the red spot.

"Okay," he started the bike, "Get on!"

I glanced at a reluctant Jimin and smiled at him. He returned it back with a thumbs up, I'd asked him to teleport to the place following me. He then vanished before me.

I sighed and got on the bike.

"Off we go!" Haneen mumbled and I clutched into the phone as we sped off.

I need to protect my sister no matter what.

I looked back at my dark house fading away in the moonlight.

I'll bring her back, mom. I'm her sister and I'm bound to protect her. I'm gonna do it. Just wait for us patiently, it's my promise.
