Chapter 11 ~ A refreshing restart, or so you'd like to think.

It's been a few weeks, Kai and I met up, and it's all because I decided to go back to University and get a degree in (your choice). It's an interesting course and contains my full attention. The university itself is quite a nice size, dorms and all, although it's relatively close still, to Kai's criminal base. He, of course, wouldn't allow it otherwise.

I groggily hauled myself into the lecture room and sat at the back. My eyes slid across to the person a few seats away from me. It was a woman, hunched over and staring at her knotted fingers. I felt my brow crease.

"Hello?" I call out to her, she seemed new.. Her gaze quickly flicked to me in alarm and she shook gently. Her eyes had dark circles, a slightly crooked nose and thin lips. Her hair was black and matted to her head. My sympathetic side immediately felt bad for her, and I felt my subconcious immediately say; She's bad news.

I couldn't agree more with myself, as the girl quickly regained her composure and resumed staring at her hands. I squinted lightly, as I noted her messy, filthy attire. A long, damp, dirty trench coat. My nose wrinkled in distaste, as my eyes drifted across her body, her legs consisted of ripped jeans - not the fashionable kind, the old, ruined type.

My gaze flicked back to the front, as the teacher drifting across the stage.

The lecture seemed to fly by. My eyes seemed to glance towards the strange girl beside me every so often. She was strange, undoubtedly. Once the bell had rung, she had practically tumbled out of the class in a chaotic rush to be free. She acted as if this place was prison.

I let out a soft sigh, while I also exited after a few people, though soon noticed a shadow down the hallway - an empty one, that consisted of no students. My mouth tightened into a hard line, as I slowly found myself walking towards.

"Y/N!" My new friend, Daiki Iyashi called out, shaking my shoulders. My head swung from side to side, and I found I hadn't moved from the entrance to the lecture room. I sighed in complete and utter confusion, as I followed Iyashi. "What the hell were you dreaming about, then, sleepyhead?" She questioned while we walked out of the block.

"Huh?... Oh, nothing important." I managed a small smile, which probably wasn't too convincing, but she just frowned and decided not to question further.

--------------

A few hours later and I had collapsed onto my bed, which seemed to sink under my weight - into an enveloping hold. I sighed in relaxation and closed my eyes slowly, before I heard a subtle rustle behind me. I immediately brang myself to sit up, peering around the small room that consisted of a desk, laptop on top, a window overlooking the university grounds beside my bed and a walk-in wardrobe.

My eyes scanned the room, and I sighed in relief that nothing was there.

"Shhh." A whisper said from behind me, a shiver went down my spine. I slowly turned my head, my eyes widening.

It's the girl.

The girl from my lecture.. That strange one.

Her eyes are wider, as she sat behind me with a hand tightly clasped over my mouth. I let out a small squeak, I surely couldn't use my abilities in here - it's too dangerous, not just for me, but all the dorm mates in the block.

She knew I wouldn't do anything with my quirk, as her lips slowly moved up into a smirk.

She acted differently from that scared, anxious person beside me.

"He's mine." She whispered in my ear, and with that, she had vanished. Leaving me panting, mostly in exasperation at myself for not doing anything, but also the fear of what she's talking about. Is she here to kill me because of what happened to Shigaraki? Is that even my fault? He had it coming, right?

Right.. My subconcious agrees with me, but I'm not fully convinced as I slide back into the duvet, turn over, and try to suppress my fear.
