Halloween Special 2.

The nurse had continued to regularly treat the yellow-eyed patient, for many weeks after their first encounter. The mysterious fog and darkness had never occured again while the patient was there, until one October night, the night of Halloween.

The patient and nurse had decorated the room spookily, to the man's liking. All filled with fake, jelly blood, bats hanging from the ceiling and even a life-sized skeleton hanging right infront of the doorway.

By now, it was 8pm, and the nurse was heading home. Night shift nurses had arrived, and according to the male's experiences- they were the worst. Rough, tough, sleep-deprived. Though, he wondered why. Hadn't they been sleeping through the late morning to late afternoon? Questions were definitely running throughout his head.

Later that night, and the patient was asleep.

THUD.

The door flung open and a light WHOOSH flung through the door, and woke the patient from the sudden chill.

The room was empty.

"Boo." A whisper escaped from all directions of the room, as the being had materialized right at the foot of the bed. They had blue hair that was poking out from under their black hood. Their cloak trailed to the open doorway, and the being's crusty face was on show.

Fog had re-entered the room, clouding at the being's feet, the patient's eyes widened slightly as they tried to move back, though the tube and other machinery prevented this, along with his head already touching the headboard.

The patient then had noticed the scythe upon the hooded male, and slowly let out a silent shriek into the tube. The being simply grinned as they moved around the bed and beside them now.

"I heard death was upon you." They made a childish grin at the patient. "I can offer you something better, much, much better." Their voice was raspy, crude, even.

The patient was vaguely intrigued as they watched the being, with slight alarm.

"All you need to do, is signthis contract." The being presented a VERY long scroll, that seemed to be ongoing. The patient took it, reading it silently to himself. "Ah- ah- ah-! We don't need to read it, just sign. It grants you another chance at life!" The being said with a grin, as the patient watched him, before taking the fountain pen from the being, and cautiously signing.

The contract vanished as soon as the patient had signed, along with the being.

FLASH.

POP.

The light bulb fizzed and went out.
