A whole minute passed, but the branches moved to create an entrance through which to cross safely. 


As I walked inside, a group of golems greeted me. Their size and strength were probably comparable to Jeanne's golems. I was quite surprised by this show of strength. 


One aspect to note about golems were the strange flowers of vibrant violet colors decorating their bodies. They looked as poisonous as they were beautiful. 


"Herald, these golems are able to subsist and regenerate their bodies from damage through the consumption of their prey. Despite their appearance, fire is what affects them the least" 


"Prey consumption huh. That explains the dry corpses" 


As we walked towards the house we found corpses devoid of all liquid. There were humans and demonic blood stains adorning the floors in equal amounts.
