On their way to the target, the ice lady and the lion warrior were intercepted by the winged aberrations. Fei Xue took care of them, but this caused the enemy to label her as a major threat. 


Lea readied her gauntlets and with her chains swaying across the heavens reduced the approaching winged demons to mere balls of ground beef. Fei Xue, on the other hand, was hurling blasts of icy lightning at the cultists and demons on the roofs and ledges of the overrun buildings throughout the east district. 


The beast they were using to transport themselves was sturdy-skinned and with a slight resistance to magic, added to this, Fei Xue had reinforced these resistances with her own magic before setting out on his journey. Still, the beast was not completely immune to the demons' attacks and their strange infernal magic, so slowly and steadily the damage was accumulating in its body.
