"Great, Joel is here. Have you seen Alex, Joel?" 


He shook his head, answering my question. 


"I planned to pick her up and we'd go together from there, but she said she got something to do first. She texted me a while ago saying that she is on her way though." 


"What? My baby sweet cheesecake hasn't arrived yet?" Joel let out a groan as William shook his shoulder. 


"Wow, slow down, buddy. You're being loud as fuck in the middle of the night. You just saw her 2 months ago." I slapped William on his chest. 


I cut him off, not wanting to hear another word came out of his mouth. 


"Joel, please take care of Elena. I'm counting on you." I took a step forward and hugged Joel tightly. 


Joel smiled and patted me on the back, soothing me. I'm not too worried when Joel is here, looking after Elena. I saw how he handled a gun before, he was damn good at it.
