I start to wake up and realize I'm laying in bed. "Thank god" I mumble to myself. It was just a nightmare. The stress around me is really getting to me. I must've fallen asleep when I got home. After the day I had I don't blame myself. I sit up while rubbing my eyes to clear my groggy vision. I realize my head is throbbing and my body hurts to move. I open my eyes again and quickly notice that this is not my room. "No!" I yell as I stand up panicking, but lose my balance and catch myself on the wall. When I finally steady myself I look around and I see a nicely furnished room. It's as if I was in a palace. Why would a random guy who assaulted me take me to such a place? I see a mirror in the corner of the room and see my reflection. Half of my face is bruised. I also feel an excruciating pain in my side. This really wasn't a dream.
I'm half running half wincing to the door when it suddenly bursts open. I'm expecting to see the man from yesterday, but instead I see Kaiden walk in.
