The next morning Amara woke up at 3 o’clock. She quickly did her chores. It was much easier than yesterday. Instead of scrubbing things clean, she used the cleaning agents and a rag and wiped it. She roughly dusted the house.
The only place she really had to clean was Aiden’s bedroom. He watched her like a hawk. Amara ignored the awkwardness and cleaned and cleaned.
She noticed another door in his room but it was locked. She had asked Aiden for the keys but he just gave her a sardonic grin and turned to get ready.
At 7am when Aiden came down he saw Amara was dressed in her black pencil skirt and a maroon coloured blouse tucked in.
The aroma from the food hit his nostrils and stimulated the cephalic phase in him. There was chocolate chip pancake, with French toast, apple juice, and coffee and blue berry muffin.
Aiden nodded at her amazed. “You’re on time.”
