Chapter 32: My contract my rules

“A lowly girl like you could only dream of standing beside Aiden Mcalvey.” Clara sneered. She is finally showing her true self. “Stay away from him, he belongs to me.”

Amara ate another mouthful, disappointment masking her face, “Are you insecure of me, a ‘lowly girl’, hmm?”

Clara made a face, she wasn’t expecting this retort. Amara placed her dishes in the dishwasher.

“Get off your high horse. Women like you can be bought around the corner of the streets. You’re not special.”

Clara’s face turned ugly and red, she stood up and stalked towards Amara grabbing her arm. Her sharp nails dug into Amara’s skin and jerked Amara to face her.

“How dare you? Do you know who I am?” Clara fiercely questioned.

Before Amara could free herself, she heard footsteps coming down towards them. Clara gave her a wicked smile and before Amara could understand, Clara had slapped herself and fell down screaming.
