Amara stood in front of the mirror wondering why she had such bad luck. She never asked for these things to happen to her yet somehow she was to be blamed. 


She splashed water on her flushed skin. She could faintly see the outline of Erin’s palm on her cheek. She touched it lightly and winced from the pain. 


The washroom door slammed open and in walked Leah Scott. She was adopted by the Mcalvey family eleven years ago when she was just thirteen. 


Her parents had been family friends of the Mcalvey and due to their passing away, they decided to keep her. 


She was the one who had discovered her relationship with Aiden and complained to Erin Mcalvey about it. 


It was Amara’s high school graduation. Aiden had landed in New York just to see her. Unfortunately due to a delay he missed her ceremony. They decided to meet at night at a nearby park. What they didn’t know was that Leah had seen Aiden sneak out of the house and followed him.
