Jenny McPherson is elated when she gives birth to a set of beautiful twin girls. Early on, they show an unusual ability for music. On their twelfth birthday, their parents enroll the twins in a world-famous music school. Sam McPherson, their father, decides to pick them up for the weekend. When he was ready to get them, he opens their dorm room. It was empty; purses spread over the unmade beds. He does not know what happens to the girls. The school officials do not know and the police were not very helpful. Finally, in desperation, Sam hires Stan Mallory, PI, to look for the twins. He strongly suspects that the twins are a subject of human trafficking. Stan searches the neighborhood and all across the Americas to find them. Is he successful?

Twins

The engines of Kenny Jackson’s charter cruiser were idling and warming up. The sun was beginning to rise in the eastern sky. Stan was excited that he had the Bahamas behind him. Unfortunately, he didn’t find the Twins, but he freed Leona Flores, which was a temporary compromise for him. At least Stan didn’t feel like a complete failure. Leona stood tall on the rear deck, wearing just jeans and a blouse, looking at all the cruisers diminishing behind her while the twin engines formed a beautiful and silent wake, each symmetrically turning inward. Her feelings for leaving the Bahamas were entirely different from Stan’s. She was unbelievably happy to depart from her world of slavery and oppression while Stan check-marked his list of possible places where he didn’t find the twins. Kenny, on the other hand, is the charter captain, ending this enjoyable assignment and looking forward to the next one.
