Red Blushed

It's the day of school festival. Ji An was very excited because she did make over for her classmates; the female students are very happy with the make-up results, but some male students refuse and want to look natural as bare.

"Of course I will not make up you like a girl. Boys also need makeup to look more radiant," Ji An said excitedly.

Ha Joon looked doubtfully at the make-up tools in Ji An's hand. "Uhm, I don't think it's necessary, my role is only as a waiter, I don't need to—"

Ji An cut Ha Joon's words. "You see how Hee Seok looks happy with my make-up? He says it adds to his confidence on stage later. Trust me with my hands, I'm gonna—"

"No, no. I'll pass." Ha Joon got up quickly from the bench and ran away.

"Seriously ...." Ji An massaged his temples. "Who else hasn't got their makeup done?"

She looked around the class. Almost all students are ready. At that time, Yeon Hee approached her and gave something to her hand.

"Hey, give this to the Vampire."

"Who do you mean by 'the Vampire?" Ji An frowned, staring at the folded black cloth in her hand. Seen from the collar, this looks like a costume for a chef.

"The Vampire Min Gi Hoon, who else," Yeon Hee said with a tone of 1 + 1 = 2.

Min Gi Hoon does look like a Vampire with his pale skin, sometimes wore a black hoodie that almost protects his face from sun exposure, and this guy always sleeps in bright times like this.

"And why should I give this to him?"

Yeon Hee was busy taking out another costume from her big bag. "Since you're not busy. Go quickly, I have to change costumes now, bye ~"

"I haven't put on my costume either, Yeon Hee—Hey!" Ji An sighed loudly as her friend dashed away.

"What's wrong ?" Han Sung appeared beside Ji An, took the small mirror on the table which was scattered with other make up tools.

"Yeon Hee ran away after left her responsibility to me to give Min Gi Hoon's costume." Ji An sat resignedly beside her friend.

"Then go, give the costume, what's so hard?"

Ji An sneered as she looked at Han Sung who was doing his hair neatly. "Aren't you two in a squad. How about you give it to him?"

"I am busy." Han Sung said briefly.

Ji An thought about hitting the back of his friend's head, but stopped when she saw Han Sung's appearance wearing an all-black suit up and down. Even Han Sung pulled his hair back. Makes his good looks increase to 200%. He is more of an anime character than a manager role.

"Take a camera and you'll be satisfied to see me for a long time," Han Sung turned his head and glanced mischievously at Ji An.

['Damn, he caught me.'] Ji An thought to herself. She sneered again. "I'd better go find Gi Hoon than looking at you."

"You just looked at me, Bae."

['That pet name. Until when will he call me that?']

Without replying to Han Sung's words, Ji An left the classroom. It's not that she's upset, she just wants to hide the blush of her cheeks. She won't show this weakness: yes, she does, 'a bit', likes Han Sung, but she won't reveal it. Not if that would weaken their friendship. Oh, she scared already.

"Wait ... where should I find Min Gi Hoon," Ji An turned to her left and right. The students from other classes scattered in the corridor, She had to step aside to the edge of the corridor so as not to collide with the other students.

She started to get annoyed again remembering Yeon Hee who purposely gave her this task. She knew that Yeon Hee didn't want anything to do with Min Gi Hoon. They once argued during a history class presentation. From there, you can see Gi Hoon's savage side who doesn't want to give in when expressing his opinion.

Usually arguments take place with other groups, but instead they occur within one group. From there Yeon Hee said that she would never want to work together in a group with Gi Hoon again.

Even Ji An also thought not to mess with Gi Hoon among the DS members, Ji An rarely interacts with that boy.

"Could he be on the rooftop?" Ji An remembers seeing Gi Hoon walked towards the school rooftop stairs several times.

"To the rooftop then," She walked steadily to her destination. Immediately arriving and opening the iron door, Ji An said loudly, "Min Gi Hoon, the class is almost ready. Quickly change—" But there was no one there. Ji An rolled her eyes in annoyance at the wrong guess.

"Maybe he fell asleep in his vampire's coffin." With a limp step, Ji An turned towards the iron door, but her steps stopped when she heard a low voice from her left.

"Who do you mean sleeping in a vampire's coffin? Me?"

Ji An turned her head and froze. There, stood Min Gi Hoon with a sharp gaze.

The boy frowned. "You're disturbing my sleep. What's the point in screaming that loud?"

['Oh no! He heard what I said before! What should I say?!] Ji An's mind raged even though she had a flat face. "Uhm ... cla-class is ready. Only you are not there yet." She bit her lower lip nervously.

"Is that my costume?" Gi Hoon pointed at the cloth in Ji An's hand with a movement of his chin.

The one asked was silent, so Gi Hoon clicked his tongue impatiently.

['Say something, Lee Ji An. Okay, don't be nervous and ... smile kindly.'] "Y-yes, this is yours. Quickly change clothes a-and go to class," Ji An didn't know why she kept stuttering.

Gi Hoon took his costume quickly from Ji An's hand, and headed to the iron door. It took 5 seconds for her to react and follow the boy.

"Oh, I'll do you a little makeup and—"

"No need."

"That's what some of the other boys say too, haha .... Just a little powder—"

"Do not like."

"How about a little eyeshadow in your eye, so that it shows-"

"Listen," Gi Hoon stopped in the middle of the stairs. He glared at Ji An who was two steps above. "I'm only going to wear this cloths and will not put on your silly makeup."

Ji An fell silent hearing Gi Hoon's words. Was this boy just insulted that her makeup was silly?

Without saying any further, Gi Hoon descended quickly, leaving behind Ji An whose face turned red.

♡♡♡

"Where have you been? Why you left your make-up tool mess on the table?" Yeon Hee complained when Ji An entered the classroom with a pout.

"At least you took care of it, friend. Thank you," Ji An replied flatly. She looked around the classroom, which had been quickly transformed into a mini restaurant. Each of the 4 class tables arranged into a square is covered with cream vintage tablecloths.

"I'm glad you thanked me, but what happened to you?" Yeon Hee furrowed her brows and looked down at her friend's face. "You seem to have eaten a bunch of celery."

Ji An doesn't like celery and if you think about how the vegetable tastes ... Ugh, just thinking about it makes her pissed off and wants to throw up. And maybe that's how she felt after hearing Gi Hoon's words on the stairs earlier. She's angry, wanted to scream, but also felt that she would lose if she fought Gi Hoon, especially in terms of arguing.

"Don't -ever-tell me to go give something to Min Gi Hoon again. Ever." Ji An pressed her words.

Yeon Hee widened her eyes. "What? What happened?" She looked her friend up and down. "He didn't hurt you, did he?"

"Not physically," Ji An rolled her eyes in annoyance at the front of the class, that had turned into an impromptu kitchen, to be precise at Gi Hoon who was preparing with his apron. "Ah, I don't want to talk about it right now. Where did you put my make-up bag? I also have to change costumes immediately."

Yeon Hee went to the back of the classroom and returned as soon as possible, carrying the makeup bag and costume she had prepared for Ji An. Unlike the costumes of Yeon Hee and other female students— who took on the waitress role with the Alice in Wonderland concept but in pink— Ji An's costume was a slim fit blazer in line with black pants, combined with a white collared shirt and black scarf that she would make into ribbon tie.

Come to think of it, there were only three people wearing black costumes in this class: Ji An, Han Sung, and ... yeah, Min Gi Hoon.

"Hurry and get changed, Miss Manager. Han Sung is ready and even charmed the other students before we started." Yeon Hee chuckled.

"My job is to run our class-restaurant well, not to attract people." Ji An rolled her eyes, a habit that could not be lost. "If Han Sung can only attract people, he better be an idol than a baker."

"And one of the people who attract to him is already in front of me too." Yeon Hee whispered with a nosy smile.

Again, Ji An's cheeks flushed. "Stop ...." she exclaimed softly. She also went as quickly as possible to the women's toilet, leaving Yeon Hee laughing in amused.

Yeon Hee knew about Ji An's feelings for Han Sung. Even before Ji An revealed it, Yeon Hee could already guess. Is it obvious that Ji An likes Han Sung? Then, does Han Sung know about it too? Given that they have been friends and lived together for several years. Oh, she doesn't want to think about it now.

"Focus. Focus... "Ji An exhaled and got ready.
