*Three Days To My Birthday*
This was it.
I was going to a party.
I sat in front of my dresser while Lizzie did my hair.
She plaited a beautiful braid on either sides of my head, stopping the braid at my neck and letting my thick kinky curly hair fall down my back.
My outfit was a mixture of comfortable and uncomfortable at the same time.

It was a black crop top with a thin strap at the shoulder basically a singlet but shorter,a black, white and grey plaid high waist skirt that stopped mid thigh, a black leather belt ,finally silver hoop earrings and black suede high heeled booties.

The outfit was comfortable because the fabrics were cozy and I loved the shoes.
I never knew I owned them and Lizzie had found them still in their box.
Mom probably got them for me when she was ordering clothing for the store's supermarket.
They were uncomfortable because they showed way too much skin.
I had asked Lizzie to let me wear a jacket at least but she said: "You would wish you didn't at the party."
If I say that didn't make me want to fake an injury and stay home, I'm lying.
"Dude, you look totes hot!" Lizzie gushed as she grabbed my hand and pulled me up from my seat.
"Let's take one pic of you for your Instagram."
Lizzie made me pose for a picture and she took more than 'one' pic.
I could tell by the flashes.
I felt my cheeks begin to hurt from all the smiling but luckily for me,she came to my side and took a couple pics of us.
I didn't really mind, I got my jollies from reading teen romance books and Liz got hers from social media and match making.
Who was I to spoil her fun?
"For my Instagram because you're my bestie."
I rolled my eyes playfully before I gave my best smile for Lizzie's picture.
"And finally for Sydney."
She opened her Snapchat app and we took a couple of goofy photos half of which I looked terrible in.
Few minutes later, we made our way downstairs, Lizzie smiling as she uploaded the pictures on all her social media and mine too.
She had both her phone and mine in her hands.
"How about 'I only roll with goodness' as a caption for the pictures of us together?"
Before I could reply,she continued.
"I know, Partners in crime."
"What?"I asked confused, distracted by trying to get comfortable in my shoes.
They are not very uncomfortable but a tinsy bit out of my comfort zone.
I ice-skate when it's possible so what could possibly get more uncomfortable than skating shoes?
"What about 'We go together like chocolate and milk'?"Lizzie asked.
"Oh,I like that one,"I replied as I went to the closet to grab a coat.
"Of course you do,"Lizzie giggled, "good you like it though because I already used 'you can't sit with us' on our snapchats."
"Okay?"I said with a slightly confused chuckle.
"Now for your post," she wondered.
"I don't really mind-"I began.
"How about '10 outta 10'?"she suggested,"I mean it's awesome for you because though you give off this bookish vibe you're perfectly amazing."
"Thank you,"I told my bestfriend and she rolled her eyes playfully.
"And uploaded,"Lizzie stated before she handed me my phone.
"Sienna?"A voice dripping in disbelief called out and I turned around to see my brother staring at me with a frown on his face. "What the hell are you wearing?"
"Umm,a skirt?"I replied, trying my best to act normal.
"And where the fuck are you going?"Mg asked walking over to us.
He didn't look happy one bit.
"No," he said defiantly.
And... I'm staying home.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Mg.
"Mg, just chill out," Liz pitched in. "It's just a party and I already asked your mom and she said Si could come."
"I don't remember anyone asking me, "Mg pointed and then examined me, studying my features for any emotion he could pounce on."Are you sure you wanna go?"
"Umm I- I, "I stammered, trying to find my voice.
I'm no good at lying, especially to people I'm close to.
"Of course she does, "Lizzie said matter of factly as she answered for me. "Mg, it's just a party. One single night. She'll be home by midnight. She's going to be seventeen in like two days, Mg. Loosen the grip, dude, we seriously gotta go."
"She's your responsibility for the night, Elizabeth, "Mg said, giving in.
"Got it, big guy," Lizzie said with a smile of achievement.
"You guys know I'm still in the room, right?"I asked.
"Promise you'll keep an eye on my sister,Lizzie," Mg said as he pulled me into a hug and kissed my forehead.
"I can take care of myself,"I rolled my eyes,"If anything, I'll be the one taking care of her."
"What?" Mg questioned.
"She's joking," Lizzie said, elbowing me in the side.
Of course I had to be blessed with a best friend with super pointy elbows.

Jason Macaulay's house was as big as Mayor Asher's and believe me Mayor Asher's house was huge.
What did rich people use that much space to do?
Store all their money?
Maybe I can sneak up their later and find out.
As I stepped into Jason's house, I realized two things.
One, teenagers my age didn't realise what loud music did to their ears and two, dancing was just a simpler word for live pornography.
"Let's go get drink!" Lizzie suggested, raising her voice so she could be heard over the ear deafening music as she pulled me along with her.
"I don't know... I don't do alcohol, I'll pass, "I said, scrunching up my face in disgust as we passed a pair of horny teenagers.
"Not to play the bad influence friend," Lizzie said,"but no one comes to a party and doesn't drink."
"Well,I do."
I wish.
In twenty minutes, I had gone from 'sober right minded Sienna' to 'saying things I wasn't supposed to Sienna.'
I knew alcohol had a weird effect on the body but what I didn't expect it to do was make me tear up the dance floor with Lizzie by my side.
The alcohol made me feel as feel as though I had just been injected with some powerful chemical.
I felt different and I couldn't categorize it. If it was the good different,I didn't know. If it was the bad,I couldn't tell.
"I didn't know you partied."
And it was at that exact moment I froze.
Usually, when someone sneaks up on me, I'd turn around and kick them in the shin or punch them.
Trust me, those were very important reflexes reflexes even though my hands were made for writing or chopping carrots and not for punching.
I grew up being close to people who loved to play pranks on people. 'People' meaning 'me'.
My older brother, my cousin Jacob and he who shall not be named.
Those times I could tell if it was Mg or Jacob or Mr nameless. But this time it felt different.
I knew who was behind me, heck,it was the person who has been around me a lot these past two days but my reflexes wouldn't work.
I urged them to, played the actions out in my head but nothing happened.
The party all around us disappeared and it was at that I knew, that moment that I felt, something deep inside me that I have never felt before.
Maybe it was that feeling, maybe it was the alcohol or maybe it was just me acting on impulse that made me do what I did next.
"Neither did I,"I said, turning around to meet his eyes."Cool party."
"Thanks, Sienna," he said and I giggled at the way it felt when he said my name.
Sienna.
Thanks, Sienna.
It sounded like music-good music.
"How much did you have to drink?"
"I dunno...I stopped counting after seven,"I slurred, feeling my feet away a little.
I felt Jason's hands tighten on my waist, keeping me steady.
"Hey! That's my feets job!"I said, straining my eyes to look for that bestfriend of mine I had come here with.
It was a bit difficult with all the colourful lights reflecting on my glasses.
"Yup, definitely drunk," Jason muttered.
I smiled, maybe grinned or was it a blush?
I couldn't even tell my own actions apart or why I was even doing them.
"But obviously not too drunk to not want to dance with you,"I said, slurring on my words.
Well, I guess we were back to 'saying things I wasn't supposed to Sienna.'
Hey... That sentence had like four letter 'S' in it.
I think the party's DJ hae been watching me, okay maybe he wasn't but at that moment when Jason had been lost of words at my request of wanting to dance with him, the DJ guy played my song.
When I say 'my song',I don't mean my song that wrote she performed but I mean the
song you go crazy about if it comes on when you're in the shower or that song that you just have to listen to while you clean up your bedroom to get the 'let's freaking arrange this mess' vibe.
It was one of my favorite songs and that song was shut up and dance by walk the Moon.
*Jason Macaulay's point of view [POV]*
Some people might call me a stalker because of my current position but I assure you,I am most certainly not.
Okay, okay, I admit.
Maybe I was a little bit of a stalker and I couldn't help it.
I was intrigued.
I stood in the dark watching her dance the night away in the middle of my sitting room-the make shift dance floor.
I always thought she was a quiet girl but after having a couple classes with her and sometimes her cheerleader friend,Elizabeth O'Conner,I knew she had an awesome and fun personality and I just had to know her.
It was like an invisible force was drawing me closer to her by each passing second.
If someone walked up to me and asked me why I had done what I did next, I wouldn't have an answer.
I couldn't blame it on drinking because alcohol wasn't my thing.
Not stopping myself, I walked towards her just as her beautiful legs began to wobble.
"I didn't know you partied,"I said as I placed my hands on her waist to steady her.
She looked really pretty.
She always did, I'd give her that.
She was beautiful and she deserved every bit of that compliment.
Even when I had seen her yesterday, I liked that she hadn't flunt herself around like most of cheerleaders or the tennis girls did.
She had three things those girls didn't -Dignity,self esteem and a perfectly working brain.
I could feel the billions of thoughts rushing through her head pertaining to why I was here with her.
I knew she wouldn't find an answer because I didn't have one either.
"Neither did I, "I heard her say.
So her friend Elizabeth had forced her to?
Though I was actually going to invite her, I changed my mind because I wouldn't want her to be uncomfortable.
She turned to face me and the party lights flashed different shades of color into her eyes through her glasses so I couldn't tell what colour they were.
"Cool party,"she told me.
I get that a lot.
"Thanks, Sienna,"I replied, loving the way her name sounded as it rolled off my tongue but that wasn't what was on my mind at the particular moment.
"How much did you have to drink?"
"I dunno...I stopped counting after seven,"I felt her stance begin to weaken and I tightened my hands a bit.
We can't have her falling now,can we?
"Hey! That's my feet's job!" she half yelled and I but my tongue to keep my laughter in.
She was just so cute.
"Yup, definitely drunk."
Drunk Sienna was funny and yes, cute.
"But obviously not too drunk to not want to dance with you."
Now that was a very tempting offer.
Almost immediately, a new song came blasting through the speakers and Sienna smiled up at me.
Guess I was taking her up on that offer.
I spun Sienna around as the song began.
Hey, don't you dare look back, just keep your eyes on me.
Her hips swayed to the music and her hands went above her head as she let her body lead.
I said no holding back···
I wasn't much of a dancer but I was never known disappoint.
She said shut up and dance with me.
I followed her lead and I saw her laugh at my non existent dance moves and I couldn't help it but laugh too.
Her eyes stared into mine and I couldn't help but get lost with her.
It felt like it was just the two of us.
No one has ever looked at me that way before had gotten my fair share of stares if not more but hers was different.
Her eyes told me I was enough, she didn't care about my money or my popularity.
All she saw was me;a guy who she had innocently tempted into dancing with her.
I felt high, the best type of high.
Smiling to myself, I wrapped my arms fully around her waist, pulling her to me and letting myself go in her amazing scent.
Halfway through the song, I felt Sienna tap my shoulder.
"Jason," She whispered,"I don't feel so good."
Oh no.
I knew that look anywhere.
I had seen it a lot with my older sister, Jeanette.
Jeanette had that face a lot during her rebellious phase.
When she'd come home drunk and would throw up as she made her way up the stairs of this place.
She was a light weight when it came to drinking but that didn't stop her.
Come to think of it, nothing ever did.
"I'll take you upstairs,"I told her, keeping my hand at the small of her back and leading her upstairs to my room.
I could easily take her to one of the many rooms this place had but I didn't want to.
Once in the in built bathroom of my room, she settled on the floor near the toilet and all the alcohol she had consumed came back up.
I crunched down beside her and held her hair back but she held up a hand and leaned away from the toilet silently asking for sometime to herself.
I said nothing as I left, heading back down to party.
I made a beeline for the kitchen and there bI settled in one of the counter chairs watching Brandon, my only friend other than Alisha joke around with Elizabeth.
I couldn't do it.
Having no explanation for my actions, I grabbed a bottle of water from the refrigerator and some pain killers from the kitchen cabinet and headed back stairs like a guardian angel would.
After a couple minutes of unanswered knocks on my bedroom door,I walked in and found Sienna curled up on my bed with her shoes on and everything.
She looked cute but very uncomfortable.
I raked my fingers through my hair because I had no idea why I wanted to take care of her so badly.
After placing the bottle and medications on my side table, Ib turned around and walked to Jeanette's old room to grab comfortable sleeping clothes for Sienna.
I walked into her walk in closet and grabbed her a pair of silk PJs.
She wouldn't mind, Jeanette I mean, she has so much more at her penthouse in LA.
After stopping to grab a new tooth brush from the storeroom,I made my way back to my room.
There, as I considered my options on how to wake her but then her Phone began to ring.
I laughed at her ringing tone-it was the sound of a puppy barking.
Cute.
I find everything about cute.
It was probably the puppy her brother had yesterday.
"Sky?" she asked in her sleep before her eyes snapped open.
Her eyes met mine before she answered her phone.
"Mg," she groaned as she listened,"I'm fine, really."
A pause
"No,I- I didn't drink, " she bit her lip at her white lie and I couldn't help but admire how insanely adorable she looked.
What was wrong with me?
"No, I'm at Lizzie's."
Another pause.
"Thank you, see you in the morning,I love you too," she said and she hung up before she looked over at me.
"I brought you PJs and a toothbrush, you can stay here for the night, "I told her handing the clothes over.
"Umm, my friend, Lizzie, do you know where she is?" she asked.
"She'll be fine,"I assured her remembering how cozy Lizzie and Brandon looked.
Sienna nodded and walked into the bathroom with the clothes.
I waited and in a few minutes she walked back inside with her clothes folded and her shoes above the folded pile.
I gestured at the water and pain killers as she laid on my bed.
She nodded and took them, grimacing as she swallowed the pills.
I made my way to the door, turning off the part of me that wanted to stay back with her.
"Jason?"I turned to see her biting her lip."Could you stay till I fall asleep?"
Could I?
Of course I could.
Hell to the yes.
Keeping my cool, I nodded,"Sure."
I sat at the foot of the bed.
"Jason."
"Yeah?"
"Can I umm have a hug?"Sienna asked,"it just helps me fall asleep sometimes."
"Umm,sure, why not,"I said as I moved closer and pulled her gently into my arms.
We stayed that way for a while and I loved the way her body for perfectly into mine.
"Hey, Jace," she said, sounding sleepy-guess the hug helped.
She pulled back, taking off her glasses and settling in the bed.
"Thank you," she said softly and just like that she was fast asleep.
Hazel brown.
Her eyes were hazel.
Jace.
She called me Jace.
Guess I finally had feelings for someone.
