“I’m sorry, nine months?” Kate asked. Her voice were steely. Laswell tore away his gaze from her. “He’s been gone that long and you didn’t tell me? Who were we talking to over the phone for the previous months?”
“It was me.”
“Why? You could’ve told me.”
“Because you got yourselves handful of problems and I don’t want to burden you.”
“Still you should have told me first.” She shook her head. “Which doesn’t matter now since it’s been like this.”
Laswell sighed and continued. “That’s not all of it. I would like also to stressed out that my father have returned. Sometime two months ago, he reached out to me, but failed. Then I tried using few locator spells.”
“And?”
“And this.”
Laswell flicked in the air and a map appeared in thin blue light before materializing. He picked it and showed them the location. The red blot blinking somewhere out in the open sea, specifically around in the Caribbean.
“The hell is your father doing in the middle of the ocean?” Van asked.
