Jordan and Riley

Riley looked at Jordan and she knew all of this was not going to end well. Her brother was out for revenge and they were the only ones that knew the reason why. ‘This is going to end bad Jordan.’

‘No it won’t Riley he had to pay he has to know he can’t treat my sister like this.’

‘He has his reasons.’

‘I don’t doubt that but he can’t keep hurting her. This is me getting my revenge for every time he punched her, every time he kicked her, every time he felt he had a reason to bully and take his anger out on my sister. She didn’t deserve any of it.’

‘I'm not saying she did.’

‘Well then. He treated her like crap. I thought by getting him in the cage it would teach him a lesson but it didn’t. Now I'm taking someone away from him he loves and that someone is you.’

‘Please listen to me Jordan he has his reasons.’

‘And what are they?’

‘I can’t tell you.’

He squeezed his hand around her neck. ‘Tell me Riley or it won't be pretty.’

She struggled for breath. This wasn’t worth it not anymore his revenge had not only taken its toll on an innocent girl but his own flesh and blood, his own sister. ‘Your mother.’ She coughed out.

He glared at her confused. ‘What has my mother got to do with this?’

‘Everything.’

‘Explain and quick before I cut your air supply off.’

‘She reminds him of her.’

‘I don’t understand. He has nothing to do with us.’

‘You have everything to do with him and his hate towards her. Hate towards your mother for abandoning him.’

He stared through her. ‘I don’t understand.’

‘His nine months older than you Jordan.’ She explained her breathing heavy her eyes beginning to roll.

‘And your point is?’

‘She’s his mother Jordan.’

‘But I…’

‘He’s my stepbrother like he is yours and Teagan’s.’

‘My mother had an affair with your father?’

‘He never said, please you have to believe me. He doesn’t talk about his past and your mother, he promised mom he wouldn't. It left Jonah bitter because he thinks his mother hates him and he took it as if you meant more to her than him, please Jordan he’s not stable he’ll kill her.’

He let go of her throat. ‘Where is he?’

‘I don’t know. I haven’t seen him since last week. He’s not going to stop until he gets answers.’
