Leilyn couldn’t stop staring at the entity before her. Her chest tightens and she’s unable to breath. She doesn’t know if it’s because of the happiness that practically explodes in her chest, or because maybe, just maybe, a rib has punctured her lungs. With the way she’s breathing, watery and heavy, unable to get in proper air, the latter seems to be the case.
“Chi… bi…” She wetly gasps out. She manages to take one shaky step towards them before collapsing.
Chibi’s form flickers and suddenly, they’re holding her up. Slowly, they sit down on their knees, Leilyn’s head against their chest.
Faerai gives a loud snort, placing her right hand on her hips. “Mortals. You lot are inbreeded with lies.”
“And you’re created with brains the size of a pea.” Chibi says, a soft smile on their lips.
Faerai’s brows furrow into a frown, her eye twitching in irritation.
