When Ash finished his design, he had a perfect fitting coat. It was black with a silver pattern, the pattern looked like a spiderweb and it was placed around his shoulders, neck, upper back and ripps. There were some little chains on the sleaves which could be used to close them, since he left them partly open. Their open part however, it was only a few centimetre long and didn't reach the elbow. The coat could be closed with some white bonefracments, which fit very much with the white ripps. The later ones weren't real, Ash had used some white threads to make them appear real.
The shirt he was going to wear below the coat was black and, thanks to the material he used, it seemed to shine like an obsidian. Ashs trousers were black as well but those didn't have any patterns. His boots weren't as black as his trousers, they were grey, with some black and redish pattern all over them. And finaly, his mask.
It only covered the lower part of his face and it had some patterns carved into it.
After Ash had put it on, he looked like a bad*ss villian. He was statisfied with his creation and headed out towards the palace. While he was on his way, the people around him couldn't help but starring at this handsome "villian".
When Ash arrived at the palace, the guardiens, even though they knew who he was, graped their swords, but after they saw his invitation, they relaxed and let him in.
'I sure look like a villian, but i hope they never find out that i can be one too.' he thought after he entered to thronehall.
The doors opened and one could see a human enter. Some of the present people didn't notice him, but the rest of them did and those could feel an almost devilish aura coming towards them. But right after the doors closed, the aura disappeared without a trace, leaving an astonished crowd and a smiling Ash. It was obvious that his aura was part of his costume and those who had watched him enter, felt relieved.
Arkron, who had watched him as well, stepped foreward and huged Ash without hesitation. However, since Ash was like his child to him, both of them enjoyed the hug. No one said a thing, not because it seemed a little strang (being gay wasn't a big deal in their kingdom), but all of them had heared a rumor about a human being adopted by the crownguard Arkron. Since they knew about it, they simply took it as a father-son moment.
After they released each other from their hug, Ash smiled at Arkron, while he asked him about his costume.
"Well you know, i'm kind of working right now." Arkron whispered. Ashs eyes lit up for a moment. Even thought Arkron wore a costume and pretended to be here on invitatation, he still was a crownguardian, which meant he needed to work because someone could try to assasine his majesty.
Ash immediatly lifted up his guard and watched everyone closely.
The surrounding people suddenly felt uncomfortable.
Ash looked around carefully, when suddely a servant came towards him and gave him a sandwich. However, since this was a costumeparty, he looked closer and noticed that the fur of this servant, looked like he had sleeped in a fireplace, because there was ash all over him. Before Ash could take the sandwich, he noticed that the fur of this particular servant seemed to be usually white, which could only mean one thing...
"Your majesty, you costume is quite unique." Ash whispered.
The servant looked up and smiled at Ash. "Is it that easy to look through my disguise?"
Ash chuckled a bit. "No, but it's quite hard to hide white fur with only some fireplace ash." he said, while pionting a himself.
His majesty seemed to be suprised by his amswer, while Ash used a spell on his majestys eyes and let his glare penetrade his illusion. Right after this, his majesty took a step back, Ash canceled the spell.
"I usually hide my face behind illusions, because they normaly cause me a lot of pain." said Ash. 'I probebly shouldn't have done this. Wait, why does it smell like death in here?' (the smell of death is know to him for more then one reason. First, he already died once and second, he already commited a few murder back in his previous life)
While his majesty looked at Ashs face, he could sense an intensive stare at him. Looking around, his majesty noticed some shadows moveing outside of the windows. The windows broke under the influence of a spell. Within seconds everone froze, not because they were scared, but because of the spell. No one in this hall could move, neighter the guests nor the guardiens.
Starring at his incoming death, his majesty looked at the assassins coming closer, but he forgot someone. Ash stood right behind him and those freeze spells only worked on the ones with lower magic power as the caster. Sadly, Ash wasn't influeced because of that.
The assassins didn't bother to hide their faces, that way everyone could tell that they were humans.
None of the assassins noticed how Ashs hands slowly reaching out to grap his majestys waist. Right before his hands were in their sight, he used his Mask-Skill on them, to make them dissapeare.
Suddenly, his majesty disapeared right in front of the assassins. They were confused, but only for a second. Their target couldn't possible move and was most likely standing right infront of them.
All three took thier sweet time and after they finally stood infront of his majesty, they slashed him and then, they slahed him repeatedly. "Where the ***k is the king!" one of them roared. After several seconds of scaning through the place, they noticed that another window had been broken.
A smile appeared on their faces. 'Seems like our target has a mage with him.' Bastio thought. After they headed out to chase their target, the spell broke. Everyone was in rage. Someone had dared to send assassins after their king and now those even escaped. But not only that, his majesty might even be killed tonight.
Arkron, who was enraged just like the others, heared a sound. 'Is someone hiding under the table?' he thought, while he looked.
He gasped in disbelieve after he saw him. Right there, under the table, was his majesty. 'Wait, isn't there someone else?' Arkron exclaimed again after he noticed that Ash was lying right behind his majesty.
Without wasting a second, Arkron graped both of them and carried them out of the thronhall.
While Arkron made his way towards the doors, the room became silent. Everyone stared at his majesty. By the way, neigher his majesty, nor Ash had lost consciousness. They were both very active.
After a little time, the assassins started to think that they might have been tricked, but they couldn't simply go back and try again. They needed to make a whole new plan without any possible distrubtion.
