This is a compilations of the 'Short Stories' of these five half brothers who chose to live in an island and made the beach part to be a sleepless resort. It is about how they decided to stay in the island and how they met their woman.

Redwood Brothers Stories

Rafael always talked to her and asked her questions, and she knew he doesn't want her to feel awkward around him. He's the youngest among five brothers and Demitry can say, he's also the charming one.


"Let's ride on the yacht boat for us to go there as fast as we can. Is that okay?" Rafael asked and pointed at the white small-like boat, a ride for at least four people.


"As long as I wore my vest." She joked because she knew that Rafael won't let her drown anyway.


"Okay, hop in." He said as he started the engine.


She grip at the handle so tight when they started moving. She have no idea that the ride will be that fast. She felt like her heart will jump out of her chest. She closed her eyes because she's getting nausea. She can feel the fast wind in her face too.


"Land!" She said exaggeratingly when they landed beside the dock.


"Sorry, are you okay?" Rafael doesn't know if he'll laugh at her or what, but he helped her stood up. "I didn't know it was your first time."


"I'm not just use to it." She said as she calm herself.


"Where is your apartment? I'll send you there first before going to the bus station. Would that be okay?"


"You don't have to, okay. If you insist." She just nodded. It's better for her to do than to carry her bag until the station of the tricycle. She needed a lot of clothes for her stay in the island anyway.


He drops her off in her apartment and went to the bus station. When she entered her apartment, she went straight to her closet and get all the clothes she needed. It's all summer dresses anyway. She's going to wear lab gown in the hospital and sometimes scrubs suit, so it doesn't matter what she wore going to work. As long as it looks decent and presentable.


Then she got a message from Rafael saying they're coming, so after zipping her luggage, she went out and wait for them beside the road. 


Rafael carried her two luggages and put it his car's trunk. She even saw more luggage's in there. Then she opens the back seat for her.


"Hi, you're Demi, right?" A familiar girl turned to face her from the passenger seat when she settles down. She looks so familiar but didn't know where she saw her. "I'm Minji."


"Oh, hi." She said and shook her hand. Right. Minji... Minji Redwood, how will she forget about her now? She was just the one she got jealous before. 


"I heard so much about you from Javier-oppa, he wanted me to meet you when you're still in Miami. Too bad that was your day off." She as they started to move.


She just smiled coyly. Demitry was not sure why she felt down all of a sudden, by just looking at Minji again. Did she know that she and Javier broke up? Or what she did after she visited her brother there? Of all the timing, why visit now? She suddenly felt sullen and she doesn't know why.


She was silent all through the ride. Even when they rode the yacht boat again, she didn't even felt what she felt a while ago. She felt numb all of a sudden.


"Can you drop me off at Javier's house? I need to check Mindy, she's with us when we came here but didn't feel well a while ago. Plus, I need to shower too." She asked Rafael when they rode the car in the island.


"Thanks, and tell the other thanks for the welcome party but I wanted to rest."


Rafael nodded again as he helped him with his luggage until she went inside Javier's house. She just waved goodbye to Minji who just waved back.
