Another flashback chapter

(Benedict hit the wall so hard putting him unconscious.

I tried reaching out to him but I cant, The moving statues are so quick that they can crush me the moment I make a step.

Locke seems to be so calm not minding, Suzy keeps on shouting on him but he is so chill that you cant even see a single mark of fear on his face.

"Locke what the hell are you doing go and help benedict!" I shouted

"trust me he's fine." Locke look at me with not a single trace of emotion on him, its like he is different from the one we know.

Minutes turned to hours and we haven't made a single move.

This underground lair where we currently in is now filled with silence.

We're not even sure if benedict is still alive in that time.

A few more minutes Locke walk towards Natasha we couldn't make a move by that time but him, the coward on the team manage to walk without fear.

"I'm sorry" Locke whispered

Gunshot sound filled the room, Tears slowly drop from my eye.

Suzy screamed so loud making the statues look at her.

I am helpless by that very moment since I couldn't even stand.

Locke carry Natasha's body on a bridal way and drop her in the middle.

I remember him saying "Sacrifices must be done."

Suzy drop to her knees and clench her fist.

"Why the hell did you shoot her!" Suzy shouted)

"That is why Suzy hate Locke so much." William ask with not a trace of expression to his face

"do you still want to know what happened to us and our connection to Argusian's?" Carlos ask

"I remember me asking that in the first place." William replied

"K..k i'll continue."

As the wind sway, Carlos continue telling the story from where he stop

(Locke started smiling making Suzy's anger even worse to the point that she almost casted a spell that might collapse the ground were in.

"Why Locke! Why!" Suzy shouted making Locke look at her with his eyes glowing green.

"I'm so sorry Natasha HAHAHAHA I didn't mean to!" Locke said sounding sarcastic

I slowly stand back up making the statue move forward a bit like its preparing to attack.

"Natasha..." I whispered

"You've gone crazy you stupid weakling." Suzy said

"You can say it that way but I have a different perspective on things." Locke said with a smile plastered in his face.

"What the hell is with that expression!" I shouted

"Arma Septa Kree!" Suzy filled the whole place with vines and even ones covering me, benedict and her.

A couple more seconds she chanted a collapse magic making the whole place sink to the ground.

"Na.. Ta.. sha.." I mutteed

"The asshole shot her." Suzy said on a raging tone

We went out of the vines that cover us and go to where Benedict is.

We treat his wounds and even went to the hospital cause it seems like he broke a lot of bones.

We never see Locke again till 2 months later he showed up at our usual gathering place.

"What are you doing here?" I ask

"I wont take long I just want to give you something." Now this sounds like the Locke we knew.

"I wont accept gifts from traitors." I said

"Like when did I betray our guild." he said

"You may not have betray us but you did something way worse." I whispered

"Believe me or not I actually didn't intend to do those things but it is needed." Locke said raising my curiosity

"Does killing my fiancée and your bestfriend needed?" I ask him making him look quite sad

"One day you guys will get it... its better for her to die in my hands than be alive but being controlled by those assholes." Locke said

"Those greenies were testing a new weapon and they ask me stop you guys to go on the lair I told you since it'll interfere there test on Natasha." Locke continue

"Bullshit! Natasha never left the house since the day you told us about the lair!" I shouted

"I know... It is because she is the target." Locke said and gets out on the door and he seemed to be getting something heavy.

"Ahh..." Locke dropped a pair of what it looks like a knee protection gear but it is what gave my powers this day.

"It is made using Natasha's soul better take care of it." Locke said and left the room

A couple minutes later he come running back to me saying "And can you please give this two thingies to Benedict and Suzy I might be afraid that we wont be seeing each other for a long time so for the very least tell them something positive about me." Locke then left

I look at the things he is talking and it is a capsule and a large sword with a nozzle that can fit a cannon ball.

Everything for me at that time is so unclear what does he mean by target and those greenies.

I can understand a thing he told me... but I did my research which leads to Argus 11.

Planet full of brutality, A planet who destroys every planet it thinks is ugly.

I convinced Benedict to help me build an alliance to protect earth from what Argus might do.

We convinced a dozen of other planets and we made rules that must be followed.

Later our alliance realize the reason why Argusians is targeting earth, it is because of certain individuals emitting energy thrice the power that the sun can give.

And the packages that Locke gave us combined can be as much as that power.

We tried searching for persons who can stop Locke or Argus creatures but sadly you are the very first one who is capable to defeat at least an ally of them.

That is why taking your training seriously is important Willy... It is up to you whether this world gets crushed or be saved.
