Puppy

After hearing the story William heard a while ago, he went to his room and think how he could possible fight one of the strongest creatures on the universe.

He lie down the bed and stare at the ceiling for the next minutes till he ends up sleeping.

Now his room has gone cold, His bed is still as messy as he left It before, he left the door lock.

Hours later, William woke up at 11 45pm not even eating dinner. He stands up from his bed and wear his jacket then left the room. He walks his way the long hallway expressionless cause he's still thinking about how Suzy felt at the time her sister died. He reached the door that opens to the stair and opened it.

The door destroyed the quiet atmosphere but eventually it quiets back. William walk his way up and reach the open grounds where the battle happened.

"They managed to take care of the mess... good enough." William whispered

He walks toward the vending machine and choose a canned coffee to ease the dizziness his feeling.

The canned drink made a metal noise indicating the drink dropped at the picking up slot. William pick it up and opened it and drink it slowly leaving a few more left. He threw the can to the bin behind it.

He was about to go back but he suddenly crave for noodles. He plans on going to the cafeteria of the complex about the hidden training facility till he remember that there is a food stall three blocks away from the complex.

"Another long walk huh?" Megtia said, Shocking William

"The hell? How long have you been there?" William ask

"Just got here actually." Megtia replied

"You seemed to know what I'm planning?" William ask again

"It is a unique skill only us from my planet have, We basically can see what a person is about to do unfortunately Argusians have this fancy car engine like thing that can block us from reading minds." Megtia said

"Care to join me?" William said

"I was actually about to follow you." Megtia said

"Lets go then." William leads the way

They now exited the complex gate till Megtia spoke to him.

"You think too much about what Carlos told you."

"I just wonder how painful is it for them to know that their friend is the villain of their life." William said

"Nah you guys weren't even close." Megtia said

"I know its only been a few days or weeks since we met but I actually treat Suzy and Sebastian as friends." William said and continue walking

"That's why you're not on your usual self." Megtia whispered

They walk slowly on the sidewalk along with a random puppy that decided to follow them. The silence doesn't work the same way before because of the car passing by.

"Hey Meg, If you will have the chance the get any power what would it be?" William ask

"As in any? Any that doesn't have restrictions?" Megtia ask back

"Yep." William replied

"I guess a godly power that can manipulate Argus 11's power." Megtia answered to the question

"Good enough." William said

The puppy walks beside William and even cuddle his head to William's feet.

"You're a cute little one." William whispered

They have reached the food stall that he is planning to eat on.

"Yo boys, plan to eat?" The cook greeted on Italian accent

Megtia and William decided to order a spicy flavored noodle with siomai in it including some a pair of drinks.

"Where'd you boys came from." The cook ask while turning the heat up of the stove he is using.

"From the nearby complex we just decided to take a little walk and the smell of this shop got out attention." Megtia said making the cook smile

"I guess that is a compliment." The cook said on focus himself back to cooking

"This is going to take 2 more minutes do you need anything more?" The cook said after handing the drinks the two ordered.

"No thanks were just going to wait for the noodles." Megtia said

The puppy is sitting beside the right foot of William while making cute gestures using its face.

"This little one doesn't seem to plan on leaving me." William muttered

"Do you guys have any meat this puppy can eat." William ask

"Yes, wait a second just going to get it and this!." The cook go outside the stall and drop the meat in front of the puppy.

"I'll just add it to our payment later." William said

"Ahh no need I always feed that puppy when I come across it on my way here." The cook said

The noodles is finally cooked and now the cook is putting it on to the plates of William and MM.

"Thanks for the food." The two said

They started eating the noodles enjoying every piece of it.

10 minutes pass and the two is finally done eating, William hand over the payment and the cook said "Thank you, come back if you have some time!"

The dog is also done eating and it follow William once again.

"That dog really likes you." Megtia said

"Am I allowed to take animals with me on the facility?" William ask

"Yep, I remember Benedict bringing a young hyena once." Megtia said

The two starts talking about their personal shit and laugh about it on their way back. The puppy looks like it is also having fun.

Later on, they finally reached the complex and part ways. William let his new puppy on to the facility underground.

"If I let you hear then it means you will know what we guys are can you promise not to say anything?" William ask

"Arf Arf!" The puppy replied

"Good." The door to the facility opened and the two walked in

The puppy is seemingly happy to walk with its new master it even jumps around when William speed up.
