The plan

6 years ago, A couple of weeks before Natasha's death.

Natasha isn't on her usual cheery self as she lay down her bed thinking of what she wants to do.

She is well aware of the fact that she wields an extraordinary amount of power that not even the strongest creatures on our galaxy has achieved, but even with that knowledge she still couldn't put herself at ease.

She knew that most people from other planets would think that she's crazy for siding with the Argusian's but she thinks that through that way she can assure the safety of everyone around her.

'I think I should call him....'

She dialed Locke's number and her phone starts ringing, Just a few seconds later Locke finally answered.

"I really wish that what you're about to tell me is important." Locke said

"Am I not allowed to call you?" Natasha said on a pretty sarcastic tone

"Its literally 2 in the morning and I just fell asleep then you called." Locke said

"Welp sorry to disturb you mister but I have something quite important to tell you." Natasha said

"Ever heard of the Canopus?" Natasha asked

"Nope."

"It is a star that exploded quite a few years ago, and fragments of it were said to be very powerful and three of those said fragment dropped here on earth." Natasha explained

"So what does that have to do with our topic?" Locke asked

"We can use it to save ourselves from what's coming."

"Wh.. What do you mean?"

"You don't have to lie to me idiot, I know that you are aware of what situation I am in." Natasha said

"I can totally sense your presence following me every day." She continued

"If you are already aware of that then I guess you already know that I am not going to help those green bastards and I will get you out of their influence." Locke said

"Tough words said by the weakest hero huh."

Locke blushed

"Don't worry I don't plan on helping them for long besides I have come up with a fool proof plan that might take them down."

"Let me tell you the intro of the plan I came up with, the Argusians are planning on committing a mass genocide on multiple planets without getting the attention of anyone. So in order for them to do that, they must've a large amount of Arcana which I contain."

"And then?"

"On a certain hunt that we will be going, you will kill me."

After that it just been silence for the whole minute..

A slam was heard through Natasha's phone followed by Locke shouting at her.

"ARE YOU FUCKING INSANE!!!??"

"Not at the moment at least."

"Let's say your plan work, do you think our group would stay the same, Carlos and Suzy would probably kill me! Besides I don't want to lose you, you're my very first friend ever since primary school." Locke said

"No matter how you convince me that my plan would destroy our friendship but it is the only way, please Locke, I know that It doesn't sound normal for a person requesting someone to kill but this is the only way I could help save those people." Natasha pleaded

"How about just warn them!?"

"You and I both know that wont work, Those creatures are so fast that they can nuke every corner of a planet if they want to."

"Fine I guess your right but why should I be the one to kill you, I know you've done a lot to me and I want to repay everything to you but why should I be the one killing you?! It can be Carlos? Suzy? Benedict?"

Sobbing can be heard from Locke's phone and he hopes that he finally knocked some sense out of his friend.

"As my bestfriend, I want you to kill me."

Natasha told Locke to meet her tomorrow on an abandoned train station if he agrees if not then just forget what they talked about and hang up.

The next day came and the two met under the rain in front of the abandoned train station.

"I knew you'd help me." Natasha said with a smile plastered on her face

Locke has nothing to express on his face, he himself doesn't know why he even went there.

"Did you make sure that the three didn't think that you're acting suspicious?" Natasha asked

"Probably..."

"The lair that we will discuss later on, that's where we will make our move!" Natasha said

"I will modify the details about the monsters underneath so you wont have a problem pretending." Natasha said

"And after your death? What will happen?"

"I'mmmm going to turn into a cat!"

"What kind of non sense are you spitting out now?" Locke asked

"In the years to come after my death I am gonna go and possess someone who will be able to hold my presence and by that time I am going back to life!" Natasha said

"How?" Locke asked with some hope hidden under his expression

"I said that my plan involves the fallen fragments of the Canopus right? Well it is going to take part on the second to the final stage, I am going to build a time machine using the host's body and I am going to save everyone including me." Natasha said

Tears started falling to Locke's eye before he could even speak.

"Make sure you succeed!" Locke said with a smile on his face

"Of course!"

"One more thing I know the others will come to hate you after executing part 1 so I've left a gift in your apartment that is for you to figure out how to use."

"I also made you a script on what to do after I die, it is in order so don't worry about things."

Locke hold onto the paper and see that he is going to give some dragon tier weapons to the others.

But something caught his attention, He saw that in a certain point in time he will need to join the Argusian's.

As much as he wants to ask questions, he just hid his thoughts inside his head.

"Now that were all set I guess I should I do this to thank you."

Natasha's face gets closer to Locke making Locke close his eyes,

And a soft lips touched his own.
