Shackles of Refuge

The year is 1842, a small town in the Franklin mountains of west Texas where love between human and fae is forbidden and halflings are in constant danger.

A changeling father wants nothing more than for his children to be safe, his human wife wants nothing more than for her children to be free.

However when the parent's wishes begin to conflict it's up to the oldest son, Joey; to navigate spirits, goblins, cursed horses, and a magical cage in order to free his siblings from the clutches of his recklessly over-protective father.



Whether by forbidden love, spicy gumbo, or pure spite a halfling always finds a way.
